American Idiot Jesus Christ Superstar (Original Concept Recording)
Coach Bob knew it all along: you've got to get obsessed and stay obsessed. You have to keep passing the open windows. (John Irving, The Hotel New Hampshire)
American Idiot Company Revival Everyday Rapture Night Music (both recordings) Memphis occasionally [not exactly a cast recording] My recording of the closing Ragtime performance. No lie, I listen to it AT LEAST once a day
How do you all have the new Promises, Promises recording? Is it available at the theatre already? PM me? ;] lol. I haven't heard it yet from BWW Radio. I was at work all day and missed it by the last airing according to the article. I thought I was gonna be able to listen to it, but I forgot my iPod touch doesn't play it! :P lol. I should read that thread with y'alls thoughts on the recording!
I've been listening to Carousel, The Wild Party (Eartha Kitt has a song on the recording called "Moving Uptown" that I am just obsessed with), and Sunday in the Park with George.
You are SUCH-A-BITCH Miss Plotka! (LoveyouLivinyouLovinyou) I'm now hooked on several tracks off of the 2010 Broadway Cast Recording of PROMISES, PROMISES especially LaCheno's "Rip Your Heart Out" rendition of "Whoever You Are, I Love You".
Promises! I don't know about the actual production but the recordings are fantastic and addictive. Cheno is amazing and Sean Hayes has a really soothing voice.
As far as new recordings, I listen to American Idiot and Memphis the most. But my "go to" recording for a pick-me-up is still Two Gentlemen of Verona. Never fails to put a smile on my face.
I wouldn't use some of the cast recordings ya'll are hooked on for coasters.
That would explain all the tacky rings on your coffee table.
