Is that a "star vehicle?" Because the next tenant at the Schoenfeld is going to be a star vehicle.

THIS IS MY GUESS TOO
I should have asked David Cromer about this when I met him earlier this month"
Could it be the Steppenwolf Chicago production of KING JAMES?

There's rumors of a Broadway revival starring Josh Groban & Annaleigh Ashford directed by Thomas Kail coming in.

Stevie Walker- Webb is directing. They have Lee Daniels producing so I think they might stand a good chance of breaking through the noise.

TRUE! If I recall correctly, they wanted the St.James after The Piano Lesson. Turns out it went to the new show NY, NY,
Could Prima Facie go to the Jacobs next year or is that too big for that show?

How about "The James" without the Saint... or "The Field" because if you rename it, they will come.

Im assuming the the Jeffrey Richards production is Ohio state murders starting Audra which was rumoured to open the Cort (now James Earl Jones) which Kenny Leon is most likely directing

The Jacobs is a small house. Any Shubert playhouse would be appropriate for this play. The production will take whatever theatre is offered to them. This is the case with pretty much any play opening this season.

There is no way Paradise Square hasn't fallen below its stop clause numerous times (I'd be surprised if they have any weeks where they were above it). If there is another show that really wants the Barrymore the Shuberts will be more than happy to give it to them.
Almost Famous is official, but now starting previews on 10/3, and opening 11/3.

This is exciting! Almost Famous, Kpop, Kimberly Akimbo and &Juliet will all hit broadway around the same time.
Wasn't it starting in September? Was I dreaming that?

Yup! It was originally starting previews on 9/13 with an opening on 10/11. This venue situation must have required them to push dates a few weeks.

or maybe they moved the dates since they had no sales?
What's next for the Jacobs in the Spring 2023?

Those of you who booked the tickets for after October 3 performances, based on the Barrymore seat plan, did you get your refund or you kept your seat choice based on the confirmed Jacobs?
I got a very nice $79 seat in the side front mezz weeks ago, but now $79 gets me only a nosebleed option.
I'm going on 10/8, and, according to Telecharge, I get to keep my $99 center mezzanine row D seat, even though they're now charging $179 for it. Normally, I wouldn't go to an early preview, but I'll keep it for the discounted price. Nothing confirmed yet, so I'll remain cautiously optimistic until it is.
I hear Parade is extending for a few more weeks. Any rumors about what is coming in next?

I heard the same… and extension to sep 3.
I wonder if the London production of Rebecca could open here. Or if they’ll use this as the place for the Wiz.

Nah, Wiz is a big musical that'll be designed for big houses. I have no idea if the Wiz has relationships with any owner, but it probably goes to a theatre with more than 1500 seats.
Based on nothing but a gut feeling, I think it'll be Suffs or The Notebook.
Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson, Brian Moreland, and Ambassador Theatre Group are producing. Shubert was previously attached to a revival of it but isn't anymore. If the Ambassador/Jujamcyn deal goes through, I would guess this plays the St. James (assuming NYNY will not go past January) or possibly the August Wilson.

I heard straight from producers mouths that they are trying to get Suffs in either this year or next. They're really moving ahead and it could make it by the end of the year, beginning of next year. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes into this theater.
