I love the way Jenna Leigh Green and Kristy Cates end the song. I also love Saycon's Defying Gravity. Shoshana's is awesome too, she makes the song her own.

Stephanie live and Idina on the recording are tied for me. I also like how Ana Gasteyer messes with the ending a bit sometimes.

Kristy Cates is the best. She's just fierce, powerful, and creates these riffs that would even blow your mother away.
Shoshana Bean is the worst. She NEEDS power. Her voice just isn't suited for the song. She's an awesome vocalist and she's the best riffer, but she's just not right for the song.

Bill Finn rocks. Woot.

yeah, sometimes idina live can be kinda bad, but than sometimes she can sound REALLY good, is it the same with the rest of them or is there a performer who sings it amazingly every single time?

haha, Emcee.
I've never heard him sing it. I've only heard Idina live and she blew me away each time.

i've heard an AMAZING version with idina... as i'm sure many of you have... from san francisco... she's FLAWLESS in that!
i enjoy them all. i think shoshana is more amazing live than i've heard elsewhere.
