1. Fosse 2. Phantom (Maybe I was too young, or maybe it was the horrible seats, but I didn't like it.) 3. Gypsy 4. Scarlet Pimpernell (It was great the first time, but the second time was a big dissapointment)
Megan Mullally as Karen Walker on Will and Grace: "Tell me more. Tell me more. Like does he have a car?"
I'm trying to do this in broad categories, of which there may be more than five, unfortunately, and only include shows I've seen productions of: Cats = least favorite huge hit megamusical Here's Love! = worst show by an otherwise decent composer South Pacific= classic that just bores me (Showboat runs a close 2nd) Jekyll&Hyde/Scarlet Pimpernel = least favorite composer Jesus Christ Superstar = least favorite show to listen to Passion = least favorite Sondheim Nunsense = least fave show everyone does because it's so easy to do badly Menopause: The Musical = least favorite off-Broadway show
(1) Flower Drum Song (2) Jerry Springer the Musical (3) Seussical (4) MAMMA MIA (5) MAMMA MIA :)
"There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who wait for things to happen, and those who wonder what happened." ANONYMOUS
1) Mamma Mia! (just blah) 2) Lion King (love the visuals, but little substance) 3) Beauty and the Beast (love the story, but feels like a show that belongs at Disneyland, not Broadway) 4) Bye Bye Birdie (cheesy) 5) Starlight Express (more cheese)
Mine: Annie (loved it when i was younger, but being in it three times will kill it... actually being in it the first time killed it..) Bye Bye Birdie (can not STAND the 'We Love You Conrad' song, or any other song in it..) Oklahoma (ugh... it put me to sleep!) and my # 1 most hated musical... CATS. ugh shoot me now.
...Victoria Grant- how can you not like newsies? [it's my obsession... lol]

Keep in mind that I'm only 15 when reading this... I haven't seen everything. (Not in order) 1)Dracula! 2)Rent - It seems as if everyone loves it, but it wasn't my favorite 3)Big River 4)Movin' Out I have loved most of the other musicals that I have seen. I have seen a lot for my age, but I had criticizing, so I don't know about the other ones.
"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."
Raimiette, You hated Children of Eden? Wow that's one of my favorites.. I did it summer of 2003 and it's was so much fun and so powerful emotionally.. I know personal opinion and but what did you hate about it?

"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas
The Sound of Music Showboat (more b/c of flashbacks of doing a horrific community theater production of it than anything else) No, No Nanette South Pacific

I didn't hate it but it's not one of my favorties. I didn't enjoy the sets and I thought the acting was pretty sub-par. I really only liked one song from it (Lost in the Wilderness).
It wasn't too bad but I put it on my least favorite list because I don't get to see many Broadway musicals (I live in Canada) so I have a generally small list to pick from. It was one of my least favorites from what I have seen.
Raimiette.. Understandable.. A poorly staged or acted show will ruin the best of them..

1) Beehive (I never saw it on broadway but I saw a production of it that was dreadful like horrible!) 2) Phantom of the Opera (too long, it could be a half an hour long and still have the same plot and events sequence, I think it will make a better horror movie) 3) Mamma Mia (I didn't like it very much but I have a friend in it now so, I might be seeing it again but can't complain much lol) 4) The Producers (ok thats a surprise but its true I didn't love it) 5) The Beauty and the Beast (it was a good movie just stop it there)
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
