I saw a TV commercial this morning that had him masked. Does anyone know if it'll be the same in the show?

I have a hunch they're building it up to a moment in the show where he will take the mask off, OR, he won't have it.
He's been teasing with the idea of losing the mask for a while now. It used to cover more of his face, then it got smaller.
Considering the official production promo photo for Peck is cut off above his lips, it’s pretty obvious they’re teasing this decision.
He will be masked and probably remove it in some dramatic moment.
I do not hate this, especially if it builds to a cool moment where he takes the mask off late in the show...
If he's going to take the mask off at a dramatic moment in the show, the obvious one to me is right before "She wouldn't look Jewish at all," which I have always considered an "unmasking" of the Emcee who for he really is.

I haven’t seen this production yet, so it may not work with the staging/direction, but I could also see the removal of a mask either before or during “I Don’t Care Much” being an effective moment
If this was the Sam Mendes production it would be poweful in the finale if he removed the mask, all exposed in the uniform etc.
I’m about 99% sure he won’t be wearing it at all. The promo shots released so far deliberately obscure his whole face, as did he in a photo set he posted personally of what looked to be a makeup test. The mask doesn’t fit the direction at all, and removing it within the context of the show would be so weird.

I'm guessing he'll remain in his smaller mask throughout the performance. Would be cool if during the drumroll at the end, he moves to take off the mask just as the blackout occurs. Maybe you get a very brief blink-and-you-miss-it glimpse.
Since the mask is such an important part of his stage persona, would appearing as a replacement in the Broadway production of "Cabaret" really be the career moment where he would choose to perform without it? Wouldn't he gain more attention from doing this in a more public way? (Music video, awards show, television appearance).

He's appeared on stage without the mask before under his real name Daniel Pitout. so it would not be the first time he went maskless if he does

I really hope this is the case. I can’t imagine him removing the mask after "…she wouldn't look Jewish at all," to hoots and hollers from the audience. 🥴🥴🥴

Which was before he began his career as Orville Peck, a persona that is still being used in his Cabaret casting. He has never performed without a mask since starting this music career.

True. I was pointing that out for anybody who was curious of what he actually looks like without the mask since a lot of people still seem to not know. Lol

He has also not acted since starting his music career. "Orville Peck" is being used to sell his name and if you know his name, then you also know his face. It is not a mystery. He's not going to be singing the show with the fake country twang he does on stage at his own concerts either. That is a character just as Emcee is. I feel like they'll use the mask in promo to get people in the door.
