They've worked in a full frontal for Elphaba on matinees. At the end of Defying Gravity, she defies her wardrobe.

Just Saw "just a kiss" if you are renting it for the idina sequence or any( decided to watch after the sequence) it's not worth it. It's very fleeting and quick quick hyper cuts. Also she sounds like she is saying some of the lyrics of "No Good Deed" in the Scene
"Look on the Bright Side
Not on the Blackside
get off your backside
shine those shoes!
This is your golden opportunity:
Your the lightning and the news!"

I can't remember the name of the play (mid-19080s) but it was written by Pete Gurney and starred Mary Tyler Moore and Lynn Redgrave. Both John Dossett and Barry Tubb has nude scenes.

It was called "Sweet Sue". Moore and Redgrave played alter egos of the same woman.

Metamorphosis had male nudity.

I am fascinated by this thread… and by the concept of nudity on stage. I have attended a lot of theatrical production, many of which contained nude actors or actresses. Here are a partial list of show that I attended (on and off Broadway) that had memorable nude scenes or famous actresses prancing around in the buff from the recent past:
Hair
Killer Joe -- Michelle Willaims from Dawson’s Creak got totally naked and Lori Petty showed her butt. (Quite a pleasant surprise. I think before these two, Fairuza Balk did the honours.)
The Women—Jennifer Tilly in the bath plus another topless woman
The Blue Room—Nicole Kidman
Passion—Marin Mazzie
Cellini-- stunningly beautiful Jennifer Roszell in stunningly beautiful scenes as an artist’s model
Stanley
Thou Shalt Not
Franny’s Way
Vienna: Lusthaus (revisited)—possibly the most erotic and beautiful staging ever. This is my favourite.
There were plays I never saw:
Rent
The Graduate
Rocky Horror
Wit
Dracula
Steaming
Steam Bath
Then there are the ones which I can’t recall the names
There was a play about three couples and their dalliances—one actress kept sunbathing topless
There was an avant-garde piece in Brooklyn with a floating bed
A Greek tragedy with Ann Reinking in a sheer top
A play about a Russian theater troupe—the new young actress was posing nude
A play about strippers—this one had (cute as a button) Dina Spybey topless
Anybody know any others in New York, London or even the West Coast? The more famous the actress, the better. No show is too big or too small.

"Sweeney Todd" has nudity in it. Well in the DVD with Angela and George it does. During the dance or whatever, you see Judge Turpin's "backside".

Rent has nudity?? Do you mean Maureen's bare ass? Does that count as nudity nowadays? It seems so commonplace - I mean, Shannyn Sossamon's full bare ass had a close-up on L&O:SVU this week!
"It's not always about you!!!" (But if you think I'm referring to you anyway, then I probably am.)
"Good luck returning my ass!" - Wilhemina Slater

If anyone has seen "The Highest Yellow", the new Michael John LaChiusa musical at the Signature Theatre in Virginia, Marc Kudisch bares it ALL in one scene -- and I mean it ALL...
...it was kind of scary...Marc Kudisch is a bow legged hairy man. He's great in the show though.

In ENCHANTED APRIL Michael Cumpsty was completely naked onstage for a few seconds, but you only saw him from the back.
