There's no hope for a nomination for a favorite of yours, but you are hoping against all reasonable expectations that the performer, or show, or director, or designer, gets a nomination - list up to 10 who you secretly hope will be on the list but nobody expects them to be on it!

I would love for The Farnsworth Invention to get a Best Play nomination.

I would love for Margaret Colin to get a Best Actress nomination for Old Acquaintance.

I would love for Jimmi Simpson to get a nomination for The Farnsworth Invention

I would love for Charles Edwards to get a Best Actor nomination for The 39 Steps

I would love for Jennifer Ferrin to get a nomination for Best Featured Actress for The 39 Steps

I would love for Brian Cox to get a nomination for Rock n' Roll

Then there are also two who I think might get nominations but it's up in the air who i would particularly like to see get recognition: Cheyenne Jackson and Christopher Ashley, for Xanadu!

I second Norbert Leo Butz.

The biggest snub this year, in my opinion, will be Leigh Ann Larkin in GYPSY who finally gave a June performance that made a lasting impression.

How in God's name could Anika Noni Rose NOT be nominated? She outshined James Earl Jones, Phylicia Rashad, and Terrence Howard and was really the only good thing about that production.

I just went through the season and counted 17 eligible Leading Actresses in Plays for only five slots.

It's going to be tight. Some really well-received performances are not going to make the cut. I personally think Eve Best and S. Epatha Merkerson are going to be snubbed.

I do, however, think that Anika is going to make it in.

Well, I do find it easier to have more than one Tony thread because if I want to discuss one aspect of the Tony noms, I know where to look instead of searching through several pages of general Tony nom discussion.

I would like to see Cry-Baby nominated for choreography but I'm not sure if they'll just snub the show all together. I'm also rooting for Mandy Gonzales but I feel like she might get a snub this year.
