Buddy, the show has been open over a year in the West End, earning raves from everyone including the NYTimes. The show has a built in fanbase that it huge and will be seeing the show for years to come. Expect the Lyric to be occupied for the next 10 years, if not much more.

Isn't it the frontrunner for a number of Tonys? It swept the Oliviers.
The only thing making me happy today is to learn that there's a Return Policy.

Thank goodness I was stalking the preview period and grabbed 2 $70 seats as soon as they were released!

Didn't Groundhog Day do well at the Oliviers? I still plan on seeing it. I saw Matilda and paid full price and I hated it which makes me nervous shelling out $800+ for 2 tickets. Not everything that plays well in the West End transfers well to Bway and vice versa.
How much are front row mezz (dress circle?)

I took me an hour but I found an acceptable seat:
ORCHL G21 on May 27th.
This is by far the worst ticket buying experience I ever had.

So stressful when you only have one or two dates you can go on! Preview dates finally came up about 20 minutes ago. Paid $155 for row V orchestra. I tried the cheaper option, but there was nothing so got these as soon as they were offered.

Exactly! I am hoping I can get better seats later, but for now I have seats that I can return if I can get what I want.

After desperately searching on multiple devices for nearly 2 hours, I found 20 dollar seats for previews in March. They're for Thursday and Friday. Wish it was a Saturday double-header, but beggars can't be choosers.
Will Balcony G be a good seat? Anyone have an idea?

I gave up on the dates I wanted for previews when the red bars appeared over them. Went back and it seemed tickets opened up but still could not snag one. Also, a bit nervous that my card has not been charge yet. I usually get an e-mail notification from my bank not long after a purchase. Maybe they are waiting to submit at midnight.

How did you get row G? I was only offered row T. What price range did you specify?
Did anybody get center aisle orchestra?
I was only offered far left or right.

I got row G. It was $199.
I went back for kicks after being told that TM glitch was cleared up and after a long wait, I snagged a couple $20 seats in Center Balc Row G on a Tue/Wed in March. Thanks for the heads up, kind BWW poster who informed us of this fix!
It was incredibly frustrating to get to this point, but worth it for cheap tickets in a reasonable timeline. Was not looking forward to possibly waiting over a year. If you still have an unused code, keep looking.

Thanks. That was my price range, too, and I was only offered T and I cancelled and searched around and came back and it still offered me only row T.

Yeap, same here, $199. I wanted something closer to the center, willing to pay the premium price but I guess that the guys from 11AM bought everything
Wow! So in London, the ticket prices are:
https://www.harrypottertheplay.com/uk/ticket-information/
Premium tickets (best seats in orchestra) are 100 pounds per part. Given the strong USD, that's probably around $130 per part or $260 for both parts.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the premium ticket prices for the Bway production to go over $300 per part after the Tony Awards.

So never mind.. It looks like in all the chaos I thought I secured my two seats but I actually only bought ONE.
Saturday 4/14, both parts. $70 per part. $162 total, with fees.
Anybody interested? I could go to resell on ticketmaster but it'd be nice to give it to someone here who I know really wants it.

I'll take the 4/14 ticket!!
I agree! Worst ticket buying experience ever! Plus, I purchase tickets for four of us, at $165 per part, and my daughter is saying that's too expensive. I honestly don't blame her, but the cheaper options were gone by the time I got there (12 p.m. batch).
I guess I'll see it in four or five years.
So nice of you MyLife. Wish that date worked for me. Anyone have any singles for the month of June? :)
