This is exactly how it was when I was booking tickets for Old Friends last month... same situation, looked again today at availability and they've got loads! Still like to wait in line just in case!

9 minutes to go...

incidentally, just opened a new tab and there are over 10000 people waiting now with over an hour

A friend got row C balcony center for $109 ($127 with fees) for a Wednesday matinee in October.

There are plenty of seats available!

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

I wasn't with my first effort, but I gambled and backed up one page, clicked Accept and Continue (again) and it then did advance to the credit card info page.  I was worried it would kick me out though when I went back.

According to Google, the Hudson has 970 seats. So even a queue of 10,000 is about 10 shows worth of people, or 20 if they're buying two tickets. I'm no mathematician but I think anyone in right now should be able to find a ticket with ease :)

I can't see in the emails what the ticket limit is?   I have 6 people that want to go.  Is it the traditional 8?

Jordan, I had no problems once up and running again, but that was mere minutes after access came back.

God, that was stressful. Needed pairs of tix for 3 different dates and after all this, the seats I wanted for each date were still there for me to buy when I was finally able to.

Still in the queue and I was planning on spending top dollar on these, but $800 for two seats is insane. I can't stomach that.

Did it!!! Snagged Row E balcony ($107 each) on November 26th. Once I got in it was super smooth - was able to get 2 additional tickets for a different date for a friend who was still waiting as well. Still lots of seats available when I was in there - keep waiting!

I kept getting Payment Failed trying different cards and different dates. It finally went through and got better seats after trying 6 times.

Got mine - Saturday matinee early October, side Orchestra towards the back - $200. It took a while but code, etc. all worked fine.

Based on the size of the queue and number of seats likely available there should be plenty of availability, but I must admit that queue is bigger than I was expecting. I wonder if they could sell about 10-25% of the inventory today (I think there should be about 140,000 seats on sale. If say 10,000 people buy 2.5 tickets each that’s about 18% gone).

I stand by my earlier conclusion that I don’t think anyone needs to worry about every ticket being sold today, though clearly there is probably little value in waiting for very long if you know when you can go!

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

But with Radcliffe involved, what are the chances this actually extends?

Having checked multiple performances, it looks like the same seats are on sale for each show. Half of them aren't even available. I don't think anyone will have problems getting tickets because the other seats will open eventually.
