I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and came up with nothing.
How has the Hamlet rush been lately? Do you need to line up at crazy, ridiculously early hours just for a chance? Also, where are the seats usually located?
Any help is great appreciated!

I saw the show this past Thursday. While I was in line picking up my tickets (this was around 6:50--it was a 7:30 curtain), the person in front of me asked for rush and got it. I don't know if this was a fluke or not, but it's a good sign that you probably don't have to get there at the crack of dawn.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Rushed the matinee today and it appeared as if there were rush tickets that hadn't been given out (the rows around me with rush people in them had several empty seats). I went around 1 for a 3:00 curtain and there were multiple tickets available.
I rushed on a Friday night early in previews and there were 5 people on line by the time the box office opened. I got there at around 9 and was 3rd in line...my seats were also in the mid mezz, row F to be exact. You definitely don't have to be there at the crack of dawn but if you want to be sure you get seats probably about 9 AM is best.
I saw the show the other day and sat in the mezz and it was maybe 35% full. I'm really surprised this show isn't selling better. (Not that I liked it all, but I figured Law would pack the houses)
Has anyone rushed lately? My friends and I were planning on going tomorrow and didn't want to get to the box office too late (or too early even). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If you're really worried about getting there too late, just show up much earlier than you think you have to and hang out in a Starbucks or something if no one else is there.
You can always take a nap before the show that evening.
Bottom line: if your main concern is sleep, you can't complain that you missed out on tickets.

I never said my "main concern" was getting sleep. I just wanted to avoid getting there at 6am when it would be possible to get them at noon or later. Not because of sleep, but because I dont want to waste hours sitting outside of a theatre if I don't necessarily have to. I was asking if anyone has a "last week I got a mat ticket at 12:45" kind of story. That's all. Thanks for the advice anyway.
I went today about an hour before curtain and they guy said they only had about a half dozen standing room left, no rush. And as the show is over 3 hours, I opted against the standing room, although I noticed the show was on TKTS and think I might have been able to steal a seat after the lights went down.
I rushed for the matinee last Wednesday and got to the theater around 9:30 with less than 10 people in front of me. My friend and I got tickets no problem in the mid-mezzanine. I'm pretty sure that when the box office opened there were no more than 3-5 people behind us so I don't think it's really necessary to get there that early. Plus there were quite a few empty seats in the mezz.
I really want to rush this Wednesday at 2:00, but the earliest that I can get there is around 12:00 because I have to wait for a friend to get out of class. I could get there at 9 but they say you can only get one ticket per ID so that means I have to wait for her. Also, how many tickets do they give out?
Or also, has anyone tried to buy two tickets with one ID? Or can I bring my ID and my friend's ID and buy two tickets? It says it's limited one per ID.
Last Wednesday I got there with two friends at about 9:50 AM and got three tickets in Row F of the Mezzanine dead center for the matinee. A perfect seat since the house isn't that huge.
Are they still doing rush these next two days? I want to rush tomorrow for the evening show, but someone said to check because it might be suspended this weekend? Has anyone heard anything?
Just to clarify about tomorrow's closing show. They are only selling SRO tickets, and I expect there to be some people camping out. So if you want to get a ticket for tomorrow I suggest getting there EARLY.
