This is opening in a little over a month and is already sold out. Any word on any casting yet?
They just announced it

I LOVED Joshua Grosso in the Les Miz tour, and he's played Usnavi before. I wish I could see this!

They added an extra performance last week for Sunday evening which I grabbed tickets for and still some seats available for those interested.
Did J. Quinton Johnson leave Hamilton?!

Thank You for posting this, from you I learned that they added a performance and I just got an excellent seat.
I just picked up a ticket to the added performance as well.
I'm glad I picked up a ticket yesterday after work. The balcony is now sold out.
Anthony Ramos is now Usnavi.

I saw Joshua in Les Mis and he was so good I was looking forward to hearing him again. I am disappointed but am now looking forward to hearing Anthony.
Did anyone attend the preview last night? I'm very eager to hear about this production

Attending on Sunday and very excited to see this. I didn’t catch it when it was on broadway and glad this cast and director is coming together for this production
Excited to hear how this went. I had tickets for last night's opening but all flights to the DC area got cancelled due to storm.
Saw it last night, loved it. Wasn't even a concert, was a fully staged production. Cast was uniformly great and reminded me why I love this show. Ben Platt was also in attendance.

I see it Sunday Night. I have my fingers ( and toes) crossed that maybe Lin-Manuel will stick around town until tomorrow and make an appearance on stage.

Lin-Manuel Miranda,Alex Lacamoire, Javier Munoz, and Jasmine Cephas-Jones all attended tonight. During goes, Lin bowed with the cast, and Alex played piano with the orchestra. Lin and Alex also both greeted guests at the stage door.
The show itself is outstanding.
Managed to grab a seat for 2pm Sunday that popped up on the KC website late last night ... so excited!

annang, can you say anything more about it? The cast members, any changes? I so wish I could have seen this
I'll be there tonight. I'm very much looking forward to it.
This looks like a stellar production. I hope they bring it to Broadway. I just adore this show and the cast is incredible.
Last night's performance was wonderful!! I haven't listened to the cast recording quite some time, so it was nice to hear the music live. I forgot just how much I enjoyed this show.
The cast was off book for most of the evening, but sometimes a notebook appeared throughout as a reminder that this wasn't supposed to be a full-fledged performance. That being said, it didn't detract from the proceedings onstage.
Not a weak link in the cast, and I'm so glad Eliseo Roman reprised his role of Piragua Guy as he wasn't in the final Broadway performance.
Anthony Ramos was very good as Usnavi. This was the first time I had ever seen Eden Espinosa onstage. Her performance as Daniela did not disappoint. I didn't realize she was involved with one of the earlier readings of In the Heights as Nina.
Virgil Gadson was adorable as Graffiti Pete. I recognized him immediately from After Midnight.
My only regret was not buying my ticket when they first went on sale. I had to hold out for an added performance. I definitely would have liked to have seen this more than once.
I loved the choreography. I could not keep my eyes off of Wade Voltaire-Green and Morgan Marcell whenever they were dancing.
The cast all looked like they were enjoying themselves last night.
I recently saw a production of this show (not this one) and was blown away with Act 1. Really nice character exposition and setting up the various issues of the characters, great humour, melodies - impressive lyrical gymnastics. I would say in some ways I prefer it to Hamilton. Then in Act 2 things seem to fall apart - with so many characters and plotlines things feel like they need to be tied up very very quickly in a way that is not particularly satisfying (on the other hand a lot of time is spent on the death). Some very convenient plot devices to get things moving forward. Is it a common feeling that Act 2 of this show has problems or maybe something happened with the production I saw?

I saw the show the other night and fell in love with this cast and the production as a whole!
I will never get over being able to see Eliseo Roman as the Piragua Guy. He's terrific in just about everything he does and makes so much of this small role.
Ana Villafañe as Nina was perfect. Honestly, I think she's better than Mandy Gonzalez in this role. Probably my favorite Nina I've ever seen. Arianna Rosario did not disappoint as Carla. She had great chemistry with Eden Espinosa and was funny as hell.
Anthony Ramos was a great Usnavi, though I did prefer Robin de Jesús' performance when he played the role at Olney, Ramos made a great addition to the company.
Don't even get me started on this ensemble. I couldn't take my eyes off Carlos Gonzalez. He's a real star. Same goes for Morgan Marcell, who seems to steal the show no matter what show she's in.
Overall this production was amazing. Beautiful direction by Stephanie Klemons. It was great to see Lin make an appearance at the performance I attended. I saw some In the Heights Broadway/Tour alums in the audience as well which was lovely. Hope everyone in this production is at least considered for their roles when/if the show is revived or a movie is made.
