You mean they actually cast someone with a real talent? I'm very excited, not just because he'll probably be wearing just a bathing suit or shorts the summer, but because there's actual personality besides the looks and talent.

I was about to say the same thing. The cast of Big Brother isn't allowed to know who else has been cast until they enter the house. Lucky for Tommy, he has an agent who can run his Social Media, unlike most contestants who rely on family and friends.
His Instagram is private at the moment, so if someone's running that for him, they're lying down on the job. (Or giving his account a quick scrub before it's opened up to a wider audience?)
I wonder if he will admit to being a performer on Broadway. Unless he educates them, the usual dumbos they cast on Big Brother will think he doesn't need the money. I really am not looking forward to being tied down to my tv three nights a week.
The CBS photographer always looks like he shoots the cast at the local mall. The Amazing Race photos for this season looked like they were done at a wax museum.

Past contestants have mentioned before that producers tell them, before they take their phones and such, to go in an make all their social media private because as soon as casts are announced, people go looking to pull stuff up about them. Not everyone listens, if obviously can only be a suggestion, but my guess is that he decided to follow their advice. Someone IS running his account, I was already following him and there’s been a lot of posting to stories and such, but my guess is it’ll stay just for the people who were already following him.

I just watched his interview with Jeff from Big Brother. He stated he was gay. I'm not up to date on all of the new descriptions of sexual preference. However, he came across as just a gay twentysomething. If he was anything other than that I think he would have stated that. Actually, he was about four minutes into the interview before he said anything about sexual preference. Up until that point he would not have surprised me if he said he was straight.
Bracco gave a "shout out" to the cast of PRETTY WOMAN on last Thursday's live show and Julie Chen then explained to non-theater goers that he had been appearing in the show on Broadway. So if he planned to keep his career a secret, the secret is out now.
Or so I heard. Not that I would watch such trash, of course...
I’ve heard from...people who watch that sort of show...that he’s been open about his career as an actor/dancer. Apparently he’s taught dance ‘lessons’ in the house a few times.
Not that I would know. Or admit to knowing someone won the show since I was a toddler. I just happen to be busy on Thursday evenings...
