It's on at 3pm? I didn't realize that. I thought it was a morning "Ellen"-"Rosie"-"View"-esque show.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

The show is sydnicated, therefore it airs at different times in different cities, hence the 'check your local listings' mantra. In most cities it is airing in the a.m., and in some cities it is even airing late at night (11pm slot).

I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
Mamie...apparently you're not familiar with Megan's background before she became solely known as Karen (Anastasia Beaverhausen) Walker on the long-running NBC sitcom "Will & Grace".
Anyone know how to check when certain guests will be on? I was at a taping last month with Timothy Olyphant and Selma Blair and would very much like to tape the episode. (I do love me some Timothy Olyphant!)
"It's not for sissies, contrary to popular belief." - Tommy Tune, on musical theatre.
Just keep checking Megan's site. Quite a bit of shows were taped prior to today's debut and which will be airing at random until they catch-up to a current status. They start taping again this week and these 'new' episodes will start airing once the 'old' taped shows have aired.
It is terrible. Trying WAY too hard. I love Megan, but I NEVER want to see Will Farrell in his underwear AGAIN. And did he really have to sing the ENTIRE "Wind Beneath My Wings?" He is quickly acquiring the Robin Williams Syndrome of the talk circuit. I really think he is the only one that finds him funny. Never want to see him on a talk show again. Ever.
Her intentions are good, but the execution is terrible. She is indeed trying too hard.
The great thing about Rosie was she did her little opening, she connected with her audience (studio audience, too!) then sat down and talked about current events with her piano man John McDaniel. THEN the rest of the show was guests and segments.
Megan should have taped in New York. That would have helped, too.
Very sadly, I don't think the show will last. Megan is a great personality, but she is missing some key elements for a successful talk show.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I am not watching, but I have to admit that I thought Ellen's show was trying way too hard (still does sometimes) and took awhile to get in a groove and become entertaining.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
