Al Gore doesn’t look like a fool to me. If we had listened to him, or if those chads hadn’t been hanging, maybe Hurricane Helene would not have happened. Did you see the news from Spain at the weekend? Over 200 dead.
Another reason tomorrow is so important. Perhaps not as important as Election Day 2000, though. As evil as Trump is, I genuinely think Dubya did far more harm.
Beyoncé is not an ally. Actions speak louder than words, Mrs. Carter. #Dubai #$$$
Early voting saw record turnout. This election is expected to hit record numbers. This should favor Harris who's easily winning the female vote.

Damn!!! Report of scanning ballot issue in Cambria County in Pennsylvania. Supposedly it affected two heavily Republican districts. Judge has ordered two-hour extension keeping polls open. Worst thing about this is if it is close, you know Trump will be carrying on about election being fixed- OMG. I really wanted election with no freaking drama and court issues. One way or the other, I hope the American people know who the winner is sometime tomorrow -lol.
Early voting has Pennsylvania going to Harris. And based on the lines today, PA should go blue for Harris.

Gluck, Jay you posted this thread a whole year ago today. I appreciate that you are willing and open to debate on this forum across a number of issues respectfully and for your own personal sanity and happiness I hope it does go the way you want it to!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Same. The higher than expected turnout and the fact that women, blacks and Hispanics are leaning towards Harris is a big positive. Early reports has Harris taking Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan and Missouri.
Also, Ted Cruz is looking like he'll be out of a job soon, too. Thank goodness!

Here in California, we had a number of important State and local offices and initiatives on the ballot. Given that our polling stations don't close for another six hours, it's going to be a long night before some results start trickling in. We are prepared not to have answers tonight.
My cousin that lives in Florida and is a hard-core Republican and (was) a MAGA lover, announced he did not vote for #45, but voted third party. Randall Terry/Stephen Broden of the Constitution Party. No clue who they are, but RFK Jr. is on most ballets and I think former MAGAs may end up voting third party.

I hope these last minute voters and long lines on PA results in Harris winning.

Looks like a big Trump win AND it looks like both the senate and congress have turned red. It's over. Good luck to you all. Make sure you get a passport.
Wow. Not only is he winning the election, but it also looks like he's gonna win the popular vote.
I know blaming Trump voters is the chic thing to do, but the Democratic Party needs to do a complete about-face, because whatever they're doing clearly isn't doing anything even remotely close to working.
I voted for her. I can't stand the guy. But when your party loses the election, the popular vote, the Senate, and the House...maybe, just maybe, you need to do the opposite of what you're doing.

They need to be the radically leftist COMMUNIST (oh no soooo scary) party that the American Nazis claim they are. We need REAL CHANGE.
I am sorry that it appears to be going this way but as I have been trying to warn everyone I’ve been trying to look at the situation as unbiasedly as possible and the democrats just haven’t put up a good fight across their leadership, policy and campaign strategy. They have failed you. You deserve better and heads need to roll for this.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

What a sad and terrifying day for this country. I feel absolutely sick this morning. These are going to be a horrifying next 4 years.
