THeaterdiva is all offended with soooo much but he says that? exactly, he should never be offended again in your mind.

there are certain words that are over the line..... The N word, the F word and the C word. especially when coming out of thhe blue.

Go to any women call her a C
Go to Harlem call any black a N
Go to Christopher St and yell out F

you know exactly what i mean,

HYPOCRITE.

KAD, i have never attacked anyone without provocation or in self defense. I have made a challege to anyone to show me wherre i have, and no one has ever been able to point to one instant.

I will commmend you KADD for not defending him though.

i will defend myself and i will not be bullied. so yes, i will come back at someone who does that. maybe its a cultural thinng, but i take no crap

Last week's episode was definetely one of the strongest ones in a while. Today, Tina Fet said that the show should end when Lorne Michael leaves.

But it won't. There have been romors about a Lorne successor when he decides to retire. Will the show survive that? Who knows but it has a very successful formula now.

It's a Saturday night staple and I think it could go on without Lorne- without a doubt! I wish they could get some of the writers from The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. They are brilliant! Besides, they have to stay around- my kids have dreamed about being a cast member since they were little. When all of their friends were watching cartoons, they were watching re-runs of SNL!

I dunno, those Comedy Central shows excel with political humour--but political humour (some recent lame cold opens aside) is something SNL already does really well for the most part.

Not saying anything about the quality back then, but it did survive without Lorne in the 80's. Yes, I am totally aware of all the drama, I read about it in the Live From New York book from 10 years ago. I personally think the only way SNL will go away is if someone decides to end it or something a lot better comes along to compete. I definitely think the time and day it's on is why it survives.

Also Marianne it is the only show of it's kind. A live 90 minute sketch comedy show. This is what separates it from shows like In Living Color and Mad TV. Those momennts when things screw up are kind of wonderful.

Like how it is impossible for Hader to get through a Stefon scene without breaking a little. I love those moments.

I am NOT a McCarthy fan and so far, for me, it has been unsurprising unfunny. I mean come on, 4 minutes where the whole joke is her not being able to walk because she didn't try on the right shoes?!? Ugh
