Miley is a horrible singer. And her acting isn't great either. She looks like she's dressed to hang out on the couch on a Saturday night in this performance too.

Some strong performances there - the Republican music video to We Can't Stop was BRILLIANT. That's an instant classic. As usual, the last half hour was unnecessary. What the HELL was that poetry class skit?

The poetry skit was a little strange, though I love when Vanessa Bayer is featured in anything so I won't complain. That cheerleader/alien skit is what really has me scratching my head. What the hell was that?

Jay is just brilliant. Can they move kenan to say an usher ao a page where he would be a better fit and give jay more airtime?

Miley was ok. So predictable. We played a drinking were we would take a shot everytime she stuck out her tongue or shoeed her underwear. Needless sayi g we got pretty trashed pretty quickly.

Not sure why she's so proud of those horrible tattoos though. Its like she fell asleep on the subway and got randomly tagged.

I'm loving Miley on the show. I love her singing and she's a great entertainer. Her acting in the skits is just fine. She looks like a female Justin Bieber but I'm not a Bieber fan.

I don't think Miley's voice tone is pretty at all and she sounds very nasal to me. I liked the 50 Shades of Grey auditions and the Emma Stone was perfect. I thought the girlfriend's show fell flat. I LOVED Vanessa as Miley. She NAILED it!

I absolutely adore Vanessa's Miley and Bar mitzvah Boy Jacob. Also the auditions for 50 Shades was pretty great.

I'm totally with Roxy. Who could understand the Morning Miami promos if they weren't familiar with the Miley Cyrus oeuvre? You really had to see all the Hannah Montana episodes to even come close to comprehending the music video about the tea bag idiots shutting down the US government. Was her line "Now I might be gay for flowers" in the poetry teacher sketch a reference to Hannah's best friend Lily???? Too obscure, SNL!

As a whole this SNL season seems to be on the right path.

As for Miley, I think the damage is done. No matter how many times she says she's not apologizing and keeps wearing a thong for the sake of wearing one- with no reason behind it. I'm just tired of these recent pop stars in the nude leaving nothing to the imagination with no message or any sense of irony to back it up.

Well, Miley kind of made me a fan of hers after that episode. Nobody anywhere is talking about the VMA performance anymore, all they're talking about is how great she was on SNL. So, she's doing something right.

Yep, me too Jordan. She's a very talented artist. And I'm now watching her on the Today show doing a set on the plaza. So entertaining!

In a way she reminds me of Madonna in that she did the sex thing to shock and keep being talked about and on top of the charts. Both of them are mesmerizing on stage. Difference is Miley's more talented. But she seems to have that business sense of Madonna.

I had never head Wrecking Ball and ended up loving her performance. She sings live, which seems so unusual and artistic nowadays.

^ Same here. I even downloaded her music and I'm really enjoying it. This really was a career defining moment for her and I'm glad it turned out the way it did.
