Jacksonville, Florida is getting The Sound of Music, Chicago, The Lion King and Beautiful. Isn't that pitiful?

I'd be very happy if Les Mis somehow made it as an add on at the Kimmel Center. I think I might finally subscribe this year since I want to see most of the shows teased so far.

When the current Boston season was announced, they added that Hamilton will be part of 17-18 as an inducement to subscribe (since renewing subscribers will have first dibs). I suppose it's possible it doesn't come until Spring 2018.

I'm thinking "Hamilton" will be in Boston in Sept. 2018 following the Washington DC engagement.

Interesting that's still considered part of the 2017-2018 season. I assume Buffalo will be getting it around the same time, but it would be part of the 2018-2019 season.
...Actually now I'm wondering if Hamilton won't actually be part of the 18-19 season and just this unique "special engagement" for this season.

Boston's seasons oftentimes start in late Sept./early Oct., so "Hamilton" could feasibly be the last show of the 2017/2018 season.
Looks like we can add Kinky Boots, Les Mis, Sound of Music - and making ALL of MannPhan's dreams come true - Phantom to the Kimmel Center season: https://www.facebook.com/KimmelCenterPhilly/photos/a.120534571998.132270.12502351998/10154860842591999/?type=3

Does anyone know when to expect the Kimmel Center to release their three show subscription instead of just the set seven shows?

The Kimmel Center season looks amazing, even without the Hamilton enticement.
We are just days away (Monday March 20th) from the announcement of the 2017-2018 season at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. It makes me sad that I'll more than likely miss what will be there. I have truly enjoyed my experiences there, it's an absolutely gorgeous venue, and I love the Cultural District of downtown Pittsburgh. I just hope that if I do move back to North Carolina in July that I'll be just as happy with my experiences at the Blumenthal and DPAC.

I was there for the reveal party tonight. I don't have the dates in front of me, but the shows are:
School of Rock
The Color Purple
Love Never Dies
The Bodyguard
Waitress
Rent
and Aladdin
Add-one are Motown, The Grinch, Wicked, and Cinderella.
Hamilton comes during 2018-19.
Thank you rebeccmam31! I've not seen any of those, so if things don't work out in my relocation to NC and I stay put at least I'll have a string of "new" shows to look forward to.
NATIONAL THEATER
MEAN GIRLS
LES MISERABLES
WAITRESS
SOMETHING ROTTEN
PIANO GUYS

$620 for Orch -__-
Best season for the National in D.C. in years.
Columbus, OH

Chicago: February 6-11
An American in Paris: March 6-11
The King and I: April 24-29

Pretty exciting season for Columbus!!
Pretty disappointed with the 17/18 Benedum Season, the only one that is a must see for me is WAITRESS. I'll probably see WICKED too but the others aren't super interesting to me. But this past season has been amazing so I suppose I'll be grateful for that!
P.S. dmwnc1959 great avatar
