I think Jason and Brooke should have focused on picking more enthusiastic songs than these sad, dramatic songs. Even if they are sung well, I don't think they fit the audience of the show. And if ALW was doing his job, he should have suggested better songs for Jason and Brooke. Updated On: 4/22/08 at 08:34 PM
Brooke SHOULD NOT have picked a song sung by Eva Peron. She does not have the personality that could ever be believable to sing a song like that. It was just a train wreck and she is perfect for Maria in SOM.
Jason could have cared less this week he just wanted to go backstage and smoke a joint....he just was like wah wah i saw that musical RENT about A.I.D.S....so yeah.
David A. now this should be thrilling....not...
I am looking forward to Carly.

Why must they do all of these arrangements??! Heres a thought. Lets actually sing the songs how they were WRITTEN TO BE SUNG!!

I actually thought it wasn't that bad, and I do like the original song... Maybe I'm just crazy... I still would like to hear his "Love Changes Everything" though...

Why? They aren't trying to be Broadway stars, but pop stars. They each have their own style, and this show is about showing it. I love the different arrangements.
Forcing them to sing in the original arrangements would be moronic.

I wasn't crazy about David's "Think of Me", but I'm not crazy about David in general.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Why is it moronic to actually challenge the performers to prove that they are all-around good singers, not just some one trick ponies? What's so moronic about that?!

I dont think he was terrible but I was not a fan of the song choice. I am thinking the next two will probably be the best of the night.

Because when they put out their albums, it's not gonna be full of ALW songs. It'll be their own style. So they are singing ALW songs in their own style, changing them up.
