re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

You made the most of the song you were given? Are you kidding? Like it's some terrible song that he just had to make do with.

Anyone else notice the boy-girl pattern of eliminations? In that case, there goes Jason!

Still, besides the end, best guy of the night, and second best overall, Syesha was the best.

Oh thank God you guys hated it too.

He doesn't have the voice for the song. His vibrato was all over the place... and that last note was just egh.

Oh, and, haha, he DID sound like Gerard Butler!
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

I can't believe I'm saying Syesha was the best.

I really hate bad pronunciation. It's "GAH-rish" (as in apple), just like Paris is not "Pear-is" but "PAH-ris."

I agree, I think this is Brooke's last week, and she used to be my favorite a while back.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

Best - Syesha and David C
Fine - David A and Brooke
Worst - Carly and Jason

I hope it's Jason that leaves...

Btw, did he hit the A in MotN? I couldn't tell.

He really should have done "Heaven On Their Minds". I really hope Jason goes. Syesha ruled tonight.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

And when he sang "the music that I write", it sounded like he was refering to a garage band, not opera.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

I just got through twice for Brooke. Does not bode well for her.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

Jason was the worst... it would have been better if he sang "Hand at the Level of your eye." At least it would have been within his range...

I thought David Cook was interesting, and surprisingly Carly was quite good.

Hated David A.... what the hell was that?
Brooke was alright.
Syesha was a suprise, I was impressed.

But seriously Jason needs to go, that was atrocious.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

Syesha had her night on top.... finally!

I think Jason's gone. His attitude didn't really help him because he seemed to just shrug it off.

Brooke will be safe I think because of Jason's performance and attitude. She needs to pull a Syesha next week if she wants to make it farther.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

I think Brooke will be done after this week. She didn't sound very good and the beginning was terrible.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

I feel like i'm the only one who loved Daniel Cook's performance. I could easily see ALW calling him the minute he is done with AI and either asking him to star as the Phantom on Broadway, or as the star in the Phantom sequel.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

Sorry for the Brooke fans but I won't be sad to see her go and I am the only one here who thought she could have gotten away with saying that she was too choked up and had to start over? I actually thought she had planned to do that until I found out she forgot the lyric.

re: ALW on AI tomorrow night...

I love David Cook's performance as well, up until the last note, which was really funky. But I've hated him before tonight, but he actually has kind of a nice voice when he's not screaming. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say he sounded much, much better than Gerard Butler. David's high note didn't want me to kick puppies like Gerard's did.
