I really don’t understand why they can’t just send us electronic tix."
PDF E-tickets that came directly from Telecharge for Chess were great, so, going forward, maybe they’ll be doing them for all Shubert houses. I’m guessing that Ticketmaster makes it difficult to do them for this show, though, since they’d have to be mobile tickets sent to a Ticketmaster account.
I would absolutely love to see this if there's anyway possible.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
A friend of mine rang the Entertainment Community Fund and was told that the waitlist for tickets is 1200 people long, and that they are no longer taking additional names.
Still, 1200 is getting pretty close to fill the Minskoff a second time, so it occurs to me: Demand for the Les Miz 25th anniversary concert at the O2 Arena was so high that they turned the afternoon dress rehearsal into a second performance and sold out both shows. Doing something similar would be a great way of raising additional money for the Fund. Updated On: 1/31/23 at 02:25 PM

My all-time favorite show, and I'm so sad it looks like I won't be able to see this. The original 2020 date conflicted with my then-scheduled honeymoon (which was also postponed), and I figured at least some of the original ticketholders would have opted for refunds, so I've been hoping that additional tickets would go on sale. If they add another night, or if anyone has any leads for two tickets, I'll fly from LA for this!
The problem with adding another show would be scheduling since they couldn’t do it on two consecutive days and they won’t be adding a “late night” second performance on that date.
Well, then I'm hoping for a bootleg. Sorry, but if this is going to be an impossible ticket, I guess that's the only way most of us will see it.

I remember back when this event was going to take place in 2020, Brian Stokes Mitchell was on Broadway to Main Street talking about it. He even mentioned that at the time, there apparently were talks going on of having it filmed.

Two theories:
They're trying to stop scalpers. Collecting tickets on the night (presumably they'll ask for ID/credit cards) makes it more difficult to re-sell them.
Ticketmaster wanted to charge the Fund so much for ticketing services that they decided they'd rather do it themselves. The original bookings were made directly with the Fund and not with Ticketmaster, so this is something they would have decided three years ago.
