most theater workers (ushers, house managers, porters, stagedoor people) get time and a half pay on sunday performances, if you notice more and more shows are cutting sunday performances to avoid paying these rates

They have changing schedules. There seem to have Sunday matinees again in the November to mid February weeks. I think their first 1-1.5 months they had Sundays as well.

This is absurd lol. These rates are a drop in the bucket compared to overall operating costs. They’re cutting Sunday matinees because they don’t sell as well. Quite simple.
And Mondays sell better? Shows doing Sunday evenings is more of a trend than cutting Sundays matinees

Thanks for your concern but it's only the one that makes them on quite a regular basis.
There are seven Sundays start this week with no scheduled performances. After that they go back to regular schedule including Sunday performances with Mondays dark. This sounds more like they are accommodating one of the actors who may have had a prior commitment for those days.

So then yes, you are picking on that person. It's unecassary and petty.

Well it's good to know where you stand then on the racist, deplorable, misogynistic and so forth comments that poster has made. Thanks for that.
Considering how the offending posts were constantly deleted, it’s not unreasonable that a more casual poster wouldn’t have known the extent of how bad it was.

Is there a good way to get affordable tickets (that aren't all the way in the back) in October besides TKTS?

I never saw any of those posts. Just the one's where people are constantly pulling them up on things, and they were never about racist or misogynistic comments.

What do you consider affordable? A few days ago the reddit thread linked below showed up with someone giving a positive review of some less expensive table seats in the mezz side box that are listed as partial view. Those are usually listed for about $166.

Hence why they are now permanently banned from Broadway World.

A few weeks ago, I was able to purchase Orchestra E for $149 for a Wednesday evening performance, moments before curtain at the box office. They sometimes release a couple of tickets prior to the performance. I used SeatGeek to check availability and walked to the box office to purchase to avoid fees.

Adam is brilliant. Amazing seeing a real singer take on this part. I loved every minute of it

Why has he been banned? I find him annoying as hell, but do t remember reading anything truly offensive…mostly stupid and hyperbolic.
