Just thought this deserves its own thread instead of continuing this conversation in the WSS one. It’s absolutely brave of her to share this information and it’s pretty damning evidence.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Geez. This is rough. Shame on WSS for casting him, and shame on whoever runs their twitter for hiding the replies of the article under their tweets. I sincerely hope he gets fired. This is disgusting.
Those texts are very homo-erotic. The whole situation is pretty disgusting and sad that it means nothing in this industry. Add to the fact that he can’t sing or act... why is he here again?

He doesn't deserve to be employed anywhere in New York, wish he would just go away. Those posts make me sick, and I feel so badly for her. Truly is sick.
Just an FYI, this is a supportive thread about Alex. Scroll on by if you don't support her or cannot be kind. Thank you.

Absolutely no reason he should be here. After seeing the show, he leaves little to no effect. Sure, he can dance, but singing and acting... not so much. Sure, this is a results oriented way of thinking, but I really don't get how they thought we NEED him despite the bad press we know we'll get.
Was at the show tonight and as for the curtain call, it was one big bow by the entire cast. Then Amar took a tiny step forward as an individual bow and was then succeeded by the other principals. It took a second to realize that he even stepped forward, so booing was not heard at all. I think if he came out for a solo bow, it would be a bit of a different story.

He'd probably quit on the fly if he took a solo bow and got booed

And rightly so. Even if his performance was terrible (which apparently it was not), there was no reason for him to have been booed.

Oh i don't know, being a sex predator I think is worthy of being booed. Just because you support his offenses doesn't mean the rest of us have to.

Choose your words carefully when you respond to me. I have said nothing about his "offenses," as you put it, and neither have I said that I "support" those "offenses". Got it?

Forgive me, but the things he is accused of very much deserve booing (and then some), in my opinion.

Hell, there is a criminal in the White House. Not sure the average audience member actually knows or cares, although his behavior was clearly appalling.
The reporting on this issue is a little confusing. For those who are unclear on what happened. This is the link to Waterbury's amended complaint (link). I will focus primarily on Ramasar's involvement.
You will find the parts relevant to Ramasar in paragraphs 90-98. These are the facts according to Waterbury's complaint.
When Finlay asked Ramasar for pictures, he sent topless photos of his girlfriend (link to Ramasar's claim that she consented). Finlay asked for more, and Ramasar sent more nude photographs of the same woman. There's no indication in the lawsuit that Ramasar sent Finlay of other women in the company (paragraph 91).
Ramasar likewise solicited photos, to which Finlay obliged and sent him nude photos of Waterbury (paragraph 95).
Waterbury disputes Ramasar's claim that his girlfriend consented because Ramasar texted Finlay that his girlfriend might get mad (paragraphs 97-98).
Note that the only cause of action against Ramasar is for negligence (starting on paragraph 159). There are multiple causes of action against Finlay, NYCB, and SAB (including assault, battery, harassment, etc.). The basis for the claim against Ramasar was that he had a duty to prevent Finlay from doing what he did.
Ramasar's motion to dismiss (link) rejects Waterbury's claims because he had (a) no duty to Waterbury, (b) no control over Finlay's action, and (c) did not cause the damages to Waterbury. The reasons for (a) and (b) are kind of easy to figure out, so I won't go into it. The reasons for (c) is largely due to the fact that Waterbury's photos had been shared on multiple occasions before they were shared with Ramasar. Quoting from the motion to dismiss: "Indeed, the Complaint alleges that Finlay texted explicit images of Waterbury to third parties – without any involvement by Ramasar whatsoever – on five separate occasions(twice in 2017) before the May 21, 2018 text interaction between Finlay and Ramasar, and one time after that... Finlay obviously did not need any encouragement from or involvement by Ramasar to cause him to text pictures of Waterbury to others... Because Finlay’s sending of Waterbury’s photos to others would have occurred – and did occur – without any involvement by Ramasar, his actions werenot the cause-in-fact of Waterbury’s injury..."
I would go into what the other parties involved did, but that doesn't seem relevant to this particular forum. The other parties have also submitted counter evidence to contradict Waterbury's claims. I didn't look too closely, but I don't believe Ramasar submitted any additional counter-evidence in defense of his actions.
----------------------
My thoughts: The fact that Ramasar received photos of Waterbury doesn't rise to the level of "sex offender" in my book. Ramasar doesn't deny those texts happened, but the responsibility to not disseminate Waterbury's photos fall squarely on Finlay's shoulders. Furthermore, even Waterbury's own lawsuit doesn't make any claims against Ramasar other than negligence.
As WWS continues, people will research him and find out more. Also, the case goes to court in January, and that will get plenty of coverage. What a despicable person. The people on this thread defending him over and over again says so much about them, so bizarre.

It is not bizzare to actually look into the facts when someone is accused with a serious crime or moral misconduct. I was initially on the anti-Amar train in the beginning when the news came out as well, but after reading through the actual lawsuit I changed my mind.
If you actually took the time to read the complaint, you'll find the scandalous conversations about treating women like animals, pouring cocaine on women, leaving women with no choice-- none of those texts or group messages involved Amar.
There are two things that Amar did do: he sent nude photos of his girlfriend to Finlay, and he texted Finlay "send me those photos/videos :)". The first one was an act that Amar claims was consensual, and the second is a non-coercive request to Finlay--one that Finlay did not have to comply with. The duty to not disseminate Waterbury's photos still solely remains on Finlay's shoulders.
If you know of something he did that I missed, I would be more than happy to change my opinion again. But with the current information publicly available, I don't think he did anything that warrants the title of "sex offender".
Many of us have read the complaint, and completely disagree with your statement. It's sad that only men are defending this gross man, but that's always how it goes. Not a shocker. No one, I repeat, NO ONE has labeled him a sex offender. None of us will ever change our minds because of you or any other man on this thread, so you can just stop with the novels, no one is interested. He deserved everything he got, the comments to him online (that caused him to delete/make private all his socials), and the not to mention, the internet is forever. His lack of apology and him never taking responsibility and ignoring this controversy entirely is immature, immoral, and despicable. Any defense of him will be entirely ignored for the rest for forever.
This is about supporting Alex, if you can't do that, please don't post here.
