The recent Glenn Close Sunset Boulevard was also seven shows a week because of the large Orchestra
When’s opening night?

I'm guessing tomorrow morning for an announcement?

Official announcement coming at 10 AM.

Front mezzanine is always our choice better yet - front row - mezzanine. Here some visuals.

Thanks! Very helpful.
My head hurts thinking about the ticket prices. My girlfriend loves both Groban and Ashford and want to get her tickets for this for the holidays and hopefully not spend more than $250 combined for both tickets. Hopefully I can get something slightly better than the last row (doubtful).
Avoid the rear orchestra at all costs.
What does the size of the orchestra have to do with number of perfs/week?
I can’t imagine it will only play 7 performances a week. Financially, that wouldn’t make sense.

The size of the orchestra had nothing to do with it (and why would it)? Glenn Close wanted to do 7 shows/week -- so that's how many they did.

So, that “official” instagram account just disappeared. And on the same twitter page someone claims it not to be the official page in the comments. And the website both seem to lead to, doesn’t exist. Meanwhile no official announcement about the show.. whats going on?

Everything official for this production is launching tomorrow AM.

My best guess is that the social media manager got mixed messages. The show is still up on Ticketmaster.

anyone know when Josh is on vacation so i can make plans to see it then?
I noticed the handle Sweeneytoddbway has been taken on IG and Twitter for months. The pages today may just be some kid playing around.
Another botched announcement. Lord.

They are 100% fake. If they were real, Thomas Kail (and SONDHEIM) would be part of the key art billing. The childish "official" responses on social media are also dead giveaways -- no one at the ad agency is responding to twitter posts at 5:00pm on Labor Day!

Interesting thought! Although for what it's worth the Ticketmaster page seems to be using the same artwork. https://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/2921987
Today's a holiday. I'd expect an announcement tomorrow morning. And I'm sure stuff just got leaked.

does the Lunt have an elevator to the mez? I usually see shows with a family member who has chronic leg pain. We tend to sit in the orchestra for most shows since mezzanine accessibility can be a pain at most houses. If the front mez is the best seating though we'd probably want to be up there.
