I mean it is, but producers don't care if a show is artistic as long as they make money. It's all about money and numbers. A lot of the shows currently running on Broadway are far from being artistic.

I must say I am somehow intrigued to see how she would be as Roxie, but I wouldn't go just to avoid support a talentless singer who should have never chosen to be in the entertainment biz. I sound a little harsh, but just watching her show on MTV was painful, I think even her sister Jessica looked smart next to her. Ugh. Tori Spelling as Roxie? I'd probably but a cheap ticket to see her.
The role of Roxie was officially offered to Simpson, but she hasn't agreed to do it yet, it was on the news just now.

In the words of Dr. Frasier Crane, "Oh Dear God!"
Why would they even offer her this role? She can't sing unless she lipsynches(it has been proven at the first performance she did after the SNL incident where everyone booed her).
On a lighter note, did anyone see the Family Guy or American Dad(I forget which one had it but it was something Seth McFarlene did) where they had the spoof where she started to sing but the track was Old Man River and she started that stupid dance.

Usually I try to hold out and wait for the performance to judge the performer. But this... this is just wrong.

Oh my God! Poor London town.
Hear the news of Ashlee in London town, how crazy it will seem. See the box office of Chicago soar in London town and hear Barry and Fran sing. - Christmas Carol Parody
