Considering I'm the one who made the initial comment about "the change" (which she acknowledged being near in her tweet), color me shocked.
I wish her the best because pregnancy advanced maternal age (> 35 years) can be quite risky.

Thanks for mansplainin that to me - a mother at 35 and 38 - and the daughter of a mother who had children at 34, 36, 39 and 41 in the 1950s.

The girl I spoke with informed me that the show has been taken off sale at the request of the producers. They are make changes to the seating arranges due to tables on stage, etc. The tickets should be back on sale by Friday.
Is that just an excuse and they are currently panicking? Or are they genuinely re-looking at seat allocations / arrangements?
Why tell a massive lie like that! I am not impressed by that! Hugely disappointed about the show being cancelled (sorry postponed!!! ). But huge congrats to Audra and Will!

well, whoever replaces McDonald in SHUFFLE ALONG will become permanent. Of course, the show may not make it past Labor Day.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

She will return to the Tony Award-nominated musical this winter. During Ms. McDonald’s hiatus from the production, the role of ‘Lottie Gee’ will be played by Grammy Award-winner Rhiannon Giddens, fresh off of ecstatic rave reviews for her solo album, Tomorrow Is My Turn.
