Cindy Adams is 86? That explains why she can't string a sentence together I guess. No, wait. it doesn't.

Savion Glover is a pretty big deal, and the show was received much better by critics than generally anticipated. It's the talk of the town after Hamilton. I think it has a good shot.

The rest of this cast does a fine job. I think they all carry this show together.

If they continue to do as well as they are now, if they take a slight dip in the early fall they will be fine. I think the show will still sell without Audra. Maybe not the gangbusters business it's doing now...but it'll sell.

I'm seeing Shuffle Along tonight. Do you think she'll be out because of this? I'm looking forward to the show regardless but I was also looking forward to seeing her in it.

I doubt she'll be out unless otherwise noted. After that sick stint last month, she's been pretty good with attendance from what I've heard.

She was on all weekend and was FABULOUS. Robbed of a Tony nomination.

I absolutely love Rhiannon Giddens. She has a gorgeous voice and it will be interesting to see how she does in this role.

Are you talking about the Bright Star tsunami or the She Loves Me tsunami? Or one of the other 5 shows nominated in that category?

None of those you mention. It is one of the others

Let's face it, Audra is the big draw in this.. When she leaves it will take a big hit

Is it safe for Audra to dance while pregnant? Also i guess the Ledisi rumor was wrong

"Is it safe for Audra to dance while pregnant?"
She's pregnant, not disabled. Kelli O'Hara did cartwheels well into her pregnancy during South Pacific.
Posted: 5/10/16 at 2:53pm
It could have been worse as it could have come January thru March. If they can weather the storm for a few months, they might make it. They should as it is a quality show.

Let's not speculate on the personal health of other people, sorano. Dear god. It's none of your business.

Seriously, is it just all men posting on this board, or is everyone just the worst?

I didn't realize this board had so many OB-GYNs. Where did y'all do your residencies?
Carey Mulligan performed in SKYLIGHT last year until she was 7 months pregnant. That role involved her being onstage for 3 hours, cooking a full dinner, drinking wine (not real, of course), and simulating sex. And she had a healthy baby shortly thereafter.

do you think she had morning sickness that week she was out?

That is none of our business. And why does it matter to you?
Posted: 5/10/16 at 3:15pm
I'm guessing she had a serious case of it's none of your damned business.

do you read threads at all anymore Jorge? someone was just reprimanded for saying the same thing.
personally, as a non-woman, I don't know how it would feel for someone to speculate about my pregnancy. I don't think I would be as offended as many of you are (but who knows I guess).
