It is an Audience Rewards pre-sale. Go to www.boysintheband.com and follow the link. Just bought my ticket. Second row Orchestra. How high is the stage (I hate being the one to ask this question).

Ah, thank you. I'm a member so I'll use that if i purchase.
I also have a question for those who think they can predict (I realize it may be hard to do so) - how quickly do you think this will sell? I get only one NYC theater trip next year have one week in June planned with too many shows I want to see (MFL, Band's Visit, Mean Girls, OOTI, Carousel, etc...) I am also trying to keep my Wednesday and Sunday completely open for now on the off-chance that I score Harry Potter tickets with the next round, whenever that is. You think I can wait this one out until HP either comes through or (more likely) leaves me in the cold? I love this casting and imagine this will sell well as a result, though I thought the same about Angels and that doesn't seem to be the case. Any thoughts appreciated!
Telecharge lists boxes as $47 and $57 - hmm, do you think they'll only be on sale at the box office or they'll go on sale online when the general public starts?
Does anybody know if Brian Hutchison is gay? And is it safe to assume that Washington is as well (just checking his credits -no official declaration). I know it’s not important but it would be just awesome if the whole cast were actually gay. I’m not here to open a can of worms on how it shouldn’t matter. I agree it doesn’t. It is just a breath of fresh air to have actual gay actors play all gay roles which I believe have not been done before with such a large cast on broadway. Or am I mistaken and that it has been done before?
The recent UK Revival of this was very good but it hasn't aged well at all. It's a fascinating look back to that time and the changes in attitudes etc.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
Stumbled on the Audience Rewards presale Sunday morning and grabbed two center orchestra tickets (row C, 107-108, which is dead center of the fifth row) for Friday, June 1. Could've gone two rows closer, but was concerned about the unknown stage height.
Stage door for this one should be insane.

Speaking of stage door, do the actors usually come out during previews? Our tickets are for the very first preview on April 30th and I might actually want to for this one.
Hope a seating question is OK here. For the dates I am looking at, there is nothing closer than Orch Row J. Would that be better, or Row A of the Mezz? Have read mixed things about Mezz at the Booth.

I believe the mezzanine overhangs orchestra row H, so that would ostensibly put you two rows closer than what's available downstairs. Are your options in the center, or on the sides?

You may have to wait quite a while if ever they go out thru the stage door during previews as every after performance they get some feedback or discussions with the director.

I definitely wouldn't bother waiting at the stage door at the first preview (or ever, for that matter). But after the first preview shows traditionally have a company toast or small party after the show, either in the theatre itself or somewhere nearby.

Unfortunately these roles portray hideous stereotypes of self-hatred and worse.
