Sunday I was with Aaron Tviet in the elevator at Playwrights Horizons. He was going to the 5th floor rehearsal studio; I was going to the 4th. He was wearing a backwards baseball cap.
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming?
BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.
I saw Stephen Collins when I was waiting to get into A Chorus Line on Saturday. Laurence Fishburne came by a few minutes later.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

No Broadway people, but I saw a bunch of people I recognized on a WGA picket line back in the beginning of February in front of the Time Warner Building in Columbus Circle. I was walking it too. I saw Seth Meyers and Andy Samburg from SNL. I also Saw Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch. I'm sure I saw other people, but I can't remember. I did not talk to any of them, only because a picket line is not the place to be making friends and acting like a fan. However, I did sort of have a little eye contact with Seth Meyers. I was getting cold at one point, so I went to the side for a minute to put my jacket back on. He was looking at me. Actually, I was walking right in front of him at one point, but I was too scared to start talking, plus I didn't think it would have been appropriate.

Last summer I spotted Anneliese Van der Pol walking down to the Lunt-Fontanne, Saw John Glover going through the Marquis breezeway, Mary Stout walking through the Edison, and this past May Richard Blake walking down 44th
I think I saw Kristin Chenoweth on 8th ave. back in late April/ early May. Somewhere between 46th & 51st Street. I'm not 100%, the friend I was with didn't notice her. We were running to make our curtain.

Oh my god, this show has everything! Half naked guys and girl on girl action! - [title of show]
(My avatar? Why, yes! That is Laura Benanti making out with a chick!)
I saw Cheyenne Jackson walking to the Xan the day before the Tony's last week while waiting to get into the St. James for Gypsy. He had his headphone's in but even if he didn't, I don't know if I would've garnered the courage to say hi or something.. but internally I had a mini freak out.
I recently had to work a reading that Laura Benanti's husband was in and got to seat her. I was trying so hard to be cool but I was freaking out inside. Afterwards I went up to her and wished her the best of luck at the Tonys.
I saw Robin De Jesus under the Marquis at the Flea Market last year Tonya Dixon in the Port Authority elevator, we were just talking to her at the Rent stage door and she asked where we lived and we told her and it turns out she lived in the town right next to us and she was taking the bus home. Troy Horne waiting for the bus in my town, he lives in my town. I was stopped at a stop sign or something and stopped right in front of him. Many people walking into there theaters. Karmine, Moesha, and Kelly from Rent walking down 41st Lin walking down 37th Off Broadway at ITH. I was behind Karen Olivo for a few blocks on 8th I saw Doreen Montalvo crossing the street.
Last Wednesday I saw Jerry Mitchell while passing the Jamba Juice around 50th St. That day I also saw and walked alongside (sort of) Alexander Gemignani coming downtown from Columbus Circle/Central Park carefully reading a script. Today I passed by Paul Canaan near the Gershwin.
I also walked behind Jonathan Groff for about 10+ blocks on 8th, he was on the way to some SA shoot, I think it was for that big cast photo. He was wearing very tight pants, it was weird.
I saw so many Broadway folks while in the city yesterday! Ryan Patrick Binder, Christian Borle, Susan Mosher, Tony Yazbeck, Jackie Mason, and a few others I'm forgetting. You'll see tons if you walk up 8th Avenue about an hour before matinees, or hang out in Worldwide Plaza behind New World Stages.
Also, while I was waiting at the In The Heights lotto, Lin walked by the crowd and chanted "Good luck! Good luck!" It was cute!

A couple of weeks ago I saw Javier Munoz, Andrea Burns, Robin De Jesus, Nina Lafarga and Janet Decal within 5 minutes of each other. I also ran into Stephanie J Block on the street last week and I rambled like a fool but she is the sweetest person ever.
Last wednesday I saw Sutton Foster jogging down 8th ave before the matinee, Erin Davie at Red Mango and Christine Baranski at the little table/chair area across from the Longacre and Walter Kerr. I also saw Jackie Mason coming out of a fast food place on 8th and 46th on Saturday afternoon.
Back in Feb after I rushed Legally Blonde, I saw Christian Borle walking into the Mcdonalds next to the theater. I followed him in and was going to ask for a picture and to tell him I was going to see the show later that night, But he looked pissed so I left him alone. I was bummed he never came out of the stage door later.
When I was waiting to get into Gypsy during the second week of previews, I saw Krysta Rodriguez talking on her cell phone and then seconds later Harvey Fierstein with his friends. I heard him saying "I cant wait to see this, I hear she's fabulous in this.
Wherever we go, we rep our people and the beat goes...
In May 2004, (okay, she's not a star), I saw Kisha Howard on the streets, walking somewhere after the matinee of "Wicked". Also, I once saw Kristin Chenoweth coming to the Gershwin, and her hair was dyed pink.
Around two weeks ago while waiting to buy rush tickets for the matinee performance of "Gypsy", Aaron Lazar walked by. After the show, we decided to grab an early dinner at Chipotle on 9th Avenue. As we sat down, I looked up and there was Julia Murney eating at a table across from us.
