I would also be very surprised. Typically the performers who remain non-union are those for whom working in union jurisdiction is unusual and not what they generally do.
But also… how would you know she’s non-union? Unless she’s come out and said it, or appeared in a reading or something and did not have the asterisk next to her name, that’s generally not public knowledge.

You’d have to ask her that. Only she knows. I just know she’s not and I was surprised because I thought they had to be in the union.

And you got this information from where?
Broadway's Cabaret Stops Mid-Performance After Actor Is Rushed to Hospital for Health Emergency
This cast is already stretched thin this weekend with u/s coverage. Price was already on as Herr Schultz, Colin replaced Price as Herr. Marty was the Emcee, Karl was Ernst, Christian, Maya, Pedro, Kayla & Corinne(swings) were all on as well. 11 shows left and this cast is dragging itself to its closing show.
The ghosts of Messrs. Isherwood, Masteroff, and Ebb are making it known that this revival should have closed months ago.
I also didn't notice who was covering Herman/Max last night and who took over Colin's track(Hans).
I probably should have put this in this thread:
I was at the show this evening. A few moments after Herr Shulz's entrance, Price Waldman (on as understudy) paused for a few moments after his first couple of lines. At first Ellen (Fraulein Schneider) and Calvin (Cliff) tried to cover for him, but Calvin looked concerned and seemed to notice something was wrong. He said 'Sorry, can we stop the show?' or something to that effect. Calvin and Ellen walked Price offstage along with a stagehand. I won't speculate on what might have happened. He remained standing and walked with the help of the two actors off the stage, and they announced that he was conscious, talking and taken away by ambulance shortly before they resumed the show about 20 minutes later. As an audience member in the dark, I was very grateful stage management announced that he was doing alright. I hope it was not too serious and that Price has a swift recovery.
I didn't catch who stepped in after Price (I think Colin Cunliffe?), but he was great, as was the rest of the cast. Marisha is a star–I hope we see her in more. Marty was excellent as the Emcee. Silly, queer, and haunting. Ellen steals the show every scene she is in. The best Fraulein Schneider I've seen in any incarnation of the show. Calvin's Cliff is grounded but still funny and a great counter to the high-octane Sally and Emcee performances.
I must say the audience was respectful when the medical incident happened. They quieted immediately each time the stage manager came on and I think we were all grateful to hear that the actor seemed to improve before the show continued so we could enjoy the rest of the evening.
If you have a chance to see it before it closes, it's in great shape.
Yes, Colin stepped in to play Herr leaving the track of Hans vacant. Did you notice who was playing Herman/Max? Christian was Lulu and Pedro was Victor, which left them without a male cover for Herman/Max unless someone did a split track.
TKTS has last row mezz Cabaret tickets for $80. On Cabarets website, they’re selling orchestra tix for $62. What the what?

Just trying to get rid of tickets anywhere they can.

But why are they more $$$ at tkts? Should I just go to the box office?

It's likely just disconnected systems/processes. TKTS are probably discounting at the original face value ticket price, for example - whereas the website has its own discounting mechanism - which is probably heavily in use at the moment given the circumstances - and there is no coordination between each distribution channel.

Worth noting that Marisha Wallace hasn’t missed a show (or in London) - that’s quite some doing!
I hear Jon Kander saw the show last week and was waxing lyrical about her being the best Sally he’d seen in decades.
I was thinking last week of going to see the show one last time this Thursday, and seats were still decently priced. I checked tonight and most tickets now are $200+. I mean sucks for me because it's out of my price range, but good for them that demand seemingly increased.

I was thinking about flying out of Atlanta to NYC after shaky knees Saturday for the closing show, but looking at these prices I'd rather not violently murder what's left of my wallet.
It's finally over after this weekend, all the bull****, horridness, and just a badly executed revival from the start can finally rest in peace.
4 casts, 25 million dollars lost, a whole range of issues we don't need repeating, and now, finally peace. What hell of a way to end a run that, to be honest, wasn't long for this side of the Atlantic.
Does anyone have any good memories of the Broadway run?
Of course there are good memories. Say what you want about the car crash that it was overall, they were able to do some excellent casting in this revival for example: Marisha Wallace right now, Adam Lambert, Orville Peck, Bebe N etc. all acclaimed. I also like that the aesthetics of the production made the show kind of ‘cool’ and appealing to younger audiences, which is important to keep the show legacy alive.

I only saw it once, but the cast I saw blew me away and I really loved it.
I found Marisha to be excellent. I've listened to this version of Maybe This Time too many times to count.

I loved it when I saw it in April.
Same. I quite enjoyed this production and thought Gayle Rankin was a revelation, in musical theater anyway. I’ve adored her work since Glow.

Yes, with Orville who was amazing as the emcee and not Eva as Sally she's all wrong and gave a terrible forced performance.
Marisha and David were both terrific but Marisha was absolutley breathtaking. She should be Effie in Dreamgirls next season! Love her!!!

Bebe Neuwirth's "What Would You Do" remains one of my favorite memories in 45 years of going to Broadway shows.
Looking forward to hearing reports from today’s closing.
