Crusty Bagel/Krup You/Blow Gabriel/Broadway Flash/Angel of Harlem/Afrikan Queen are all the same person. Why they care about creating 3 to 5 threads a day on a dying theater website is beyond me, but the mods seem to ban them in a lot less time now.

So... I'd been questioning this since he was announced and then announced to be filming the new Hunger Games that was set to start filming at basically the same time as his Cabaret run. Is he playing Hookie from Cabaret to film Hunger Games? Were producers withholding more dates he was to be out to accommodate his filming? I just feel it odd for him to be in this two productions occurring at the same time and that they'd not come to a head.

Any f@g wanna play espionage?
Lindsay Mendez was filming American Sports Story in Jersey while also being in Merrily We Roll Along. More recently, Solea Pfeiffer missed 50% of her run starting in April in Moulin Rouge for her involvement in that doomed gun powder musical. I wasn't aware a principal could ever do that but I guess it's part of their contract?
Intermission:
I was able to get second row center mezzanine (original mezzanine) via TodayTix.
I hate to beat the dead horse, but there is truly no better way for this to work than to have an Emcee that keeps the proceedings moving and doesn’t get in the way of Sally’s story. Marty is a great emcee and understands the assignment well while keeping it fun and quirky with the right amount of menace, and he lets Marisha COOK. The audience feels alive tonight and there isn’t anyone who has to beg for applause.

Don't forget Phillie Pinto.
It will always be amusing to me that people spend their time trolling people on a message board for years because they truly have nothing else going on. If people simply messaged or emailed Rob, he would put it to rest. He confirmed they are all the same IP address which is why they are all banned. But being rational, logical, using common sense and just asking doesn't fit into your narrative (and would prove you're wrong), so I guess that's out? Incredibly amusing and awfully sad, honestly.

Someone at the stage door last night was mentioning an off handed conversation she had with one of the security team and he let it slip that they do not like Porter AT ALL.

No one said that. It did not happen. Oh you people.
I was quite literally there last night. I am reporting what was conveyed to me by this person who had the conversation.
I have no incentive to make something up for poops and giggles

I don't think you were, but I feel like anyone who say "they had a conversation with security" of a stage door are desperate for attention and will push their way into any situation to feel important. Was it said? Maybe. Was it said to this person? Absolutely not. Sounds like one of the weird Broadway groupies.
“I feel like anyone who say "they had a conversation with security" of a stage door”
It may have been with security at another part of the venue, and not necessarily someone who ever gets assigned to stage door. There are plenty of opportunities across the several hours of show-going one could chat to security about “How about all those reactions to Billy” etc.

Because that's totally what security is gonna do. Run their mouth to some random in the street trying to get a soundbite. Seems legit.
They don’t necessarily have optics at heart. Many security staff are employed by other agencies, not by the theatre, and that distance can make a different in terms of what they’re willing to talk about. Plus, humans love to connect over drama. Just look at this forum.

No security anywhere, certainly not at a high capacity event, wants to talk to patronage. They do not care.
A security guard at Shakespeare in the Park was running their mouth about the whole cast to anyone who would listen.
Billy is out again tonight.

This is very general. I’ve worked events where security personnel talk to plenty of people. I’m sure others here could imagine humans talking to humans.

It is sad, its like watching a slow, drawn out, never ending train crash.
