I felt a lot safer in the front row there opposed to CFA."
Worth noting that FLS has done this for this entire run. I don't mean that at all to be rude to you, just to note that they've done a fantastic job of figuring out how to adapt a show that features tons of audience participation for the COVID era. The whole bit they do with the catch mics and the Tony and the comedy of throwing the mic. It's a whole new joke that wouldn't have existed if an audience member just came up on stage.

This whole "he doesn't miss shows" is just no longer how the world works. That cast has a LOT of cases. He's been out many days in a row so it's a pretty safe assumption he's one of them. Even if he feels fine, that means he's out isolating for probably 10 days.

I believe he last performed on 12/21. So if that’s correct, he could be back as early as tomorrow night. It looks like Natalie is back tomorrow as well. No word on Robyn yet; she went out the same day as Natalie along with a few others. Ericka (who was one of the first batch to be out) returned last night and Jackie returned a day or two before that. So hopefully this troupe is rounding the corner and has the worst of omicron behind them.

I agree - I think this pandemic is going to finally topple some of the stigma around the understudy and the whole “go on at whatever cost” mentality. I think people are finally understanding that, while not seeing a performer you specifically wanted to see may stink, that there are dozens of talented performers waiting in the wings to get their shot and keep the show going - and some may surprise you with how they take off after.
I remember when I saw Rock of Ages back in 2009 and I was bummed that Constantine Maroulis was out and my mom even asked after we were seated if we wanted to get a refund. I said no and kept on and the understudy that night was absolutely fantastic and went on to blow up and have a big career on Broadway, TV, and film.
That understudy was Jeremy Jordan.

Their IG post says a detection of covid in the company. I’ve seen that recent shows have had understudies for Seymour, Audrey, Mushnik, Chiffon, and Ronnette all at the same time, so I bet if even one more person went down, there wouldn’t be any more coverage. Hope they do get to reopen tomorrow like they intend.

Just saying that hes one of those singers who prides himself on excellent attendance. It seems as if the whole MR cast has covid right now. Must be awful and chaotic for the understudies and swings.

They cancelled the rest of the week."
Julie Reiber announced she tested positive. Marika Aubrey is headed back to the tour on Monday. Come From Away needs at least Rachel Tucker and Astrid back for them to resume on Tuesday. Or at least some combination of two females back in the show. I'm sure they can always talk Pearl Sun and Holly Ann Butler into another week of swinging.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I saw on IG that Tina had a boatload of swings on last night plus most of the band was subs, so I also want to give a quick shoutout to all of the crew, musician, conductor, stage/company/covid safety management, wrangler, etc. covers and subs. They may be going unnoticed, but they are working just as hard as the understudies and swings and are trying their hardest to stay healthy because they’re so heavily relied on right now. Look at Company that one day they had to cancel because of backstage coverage or that Caroline sub pianist who conducted the show last minute (and has been conducting pretty regularly ever since). Anyway, bravo to them all!

Ushers are not involved in the application or enforcement of covid protocols. Those weren't ushers.

Michelle West(female swing) posted she's been covering a male track all week.

Heard that a little boy played the part of young Nala in Lion King last night with script in hand. The audience was asked before the show to give him support and encouragement. These are interesting times.
Only Flying Over Sunset has a scheduled performance today (7pm).

Les Mis was doing this back in the day. Nothing new here.
It appears the matinee was cancelled several hours before it started yesterday, but the evening performance went on in its entirety as scheduled with covers for all of the leads/featured performers except the Duke and Zidler. Zidler's line about how the show must "always go on - almost always" sparked some laughter.

This is a little strange I saw that too as well as their post on twitter saying the same thing now they are gone...wife has tickets for kids tomorrow anyone know why they would pull the posts?

They were down to their last Seymour. Although I believe Jeremy may be back tomorrow. They were already using the only Mushnik understudy. Christian Borle and his understudy were both on the show yesterday.. It is possible that they didn't have enough people for today's show.

Not sure if he had since left the cast again or if he or one of the other covers was simply not available for the matinee."
Caleb was not on last night. He was meant to be, but posted on his instagram story yesterday morning that he had tested positive. Travis Ward-Osborne made his debut as Santiago last night.
