With the 29$ million price tag. Obviously they must have a plan once Eddie leaves in august after only five months. I’m curious who people think they have in line for emcee or sally. I’m wondering if it’ll be big names like: TImothee Chalamet, Austin Butler, Chris pine, Harry Styles…

any idea of who you think they’ll be casting?"
no idea and I would love to see other people do the MC, but not with that dreadful choreography
Well from the past I do think they'll be bringing in people that others will see and be like: "Oh, I think i know them!" and will get more popular as the run continues.
And I do think they'll bring in the big names that'll make the theatre community as a whole sh*t themselves, Examples being: Cara Delevingne, Eddie, Jesse, and I'll throw Maude and Mason in there.
Who I would like to see has been a total sh*t storm... so here's my list, But i'm gonna make sure it gets more crazy as i go.
The Emcee:
Gerard Way, Aurelio Voltaire, Will Wood, Billie Joe Armstrong, Pierre Marais, Darren Criss, Sacha Baren Cohen, Damon Daunno, Dave Malloy, Josh Hutcherson, and i still hope for Fra, Mason, And Jake's returns.
Sally Bowles: Dylan Mulvaney, Jinkx Monsoon, nicola coughlan, ana matronic, mia goth, and i couldnt think of anymore so i hope for the top three's to retun with them.
Also i want Jeff Blim as Ernst Ludwig and I want it now.

Ain’t gonna happen. A return to Broadway doesn’t look likely, either.
I still remember saving up $$$ to pay for an orchestra table seat to see Emma Stone as Sally back in late 2014. Worth every cent!!! Regular price for orchestra table seat was $162 and premium orch table was $262 back then. Andrew Garfield sat two tables away. It's crazy how in 10 years Cabaret is now selling $599 premium table seats! But If Emma Stone does come back.... uhm yes I will be saving up $$$ to pay for a $599 table seat!
What I would give to see Mason Alexander Park again as the Emcee!
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
I came here to read stunt casting ideas and I don't recognize most of the names suggested. You guys better find some names that people my age who can actually afford tickets want to see. How about Lindsay Lohan as Sally?

The names you are throwing out are all star casting (not "stunt casting"). Stunt casting would be putting in a Real Housewife (or Boy George as the Emcee).
This would never happen for so many reasons, and I don't even know if it would be good but I would be interested to see Zendaya as Sally and Tom Holland as the Emcee.
Here’s my stunt casting idea for Cabaret. Matt Bomer. As Emcee. What’s more… every month we rotate in cast members from tv shows or movies he has been in!
So… Fellow Travelers month features Allison Williams as Sally Bowles while Jonathan Bennett plays Cliff (but also Emcee standby).
During Magic Mike month Channing Tatum takes a turn as Cliff/Emcee standby, Andie MacDowell steps in as Fraulein Schneider and her daughter, Margaret Qualley, Broadway debuts as Sally Bowles.

Sorry, can’t reveal White Collar month. Strict embargo.
To be clear: there is a difference between star casting and stunt casting. Stunt casting infers a celebrity whose only qualification for playing the role is their name. That infers they don't have the recognized talent to play the role they are cast in.
