So would Margaret Qualley especially with her classical dance training.
Not sure if you’re familiar with CABARET but the role of Sally isn’t a dance role (let alone, a singing role). She does have light choreography but dance training isn’t required by any means.

It's none of the above.
Sally will be a rotation of Patti LuPone and Rachel Zegler
Just some fun ideas! Thinking about folks with some type of name recognition.
Sally: Evan Rachel Wood, Rachel Brosnahan, Helene Yorke, Mira Sorvino, Kara Young, Ruth Wilson, Andrea Risenborough, Celia Rose Gooding, Christina Chong, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Aubrey Plaza, Billie Piper, Mandy Moore, Dakota Fanning, Brit Marling
Emcee: Tyler James Williams, Jonathan Bailey, Wesley Taylor, Chris Perfetti, Fran Kranz, Tom Hiddleston, Andrew Scott, Troye Sivan, Joe Keery, Zachary Quinto, Adam Lambert, Colman Domingo
WTF?! Oscar winner Mira Sorvino is 57 years old! She’s old enough to play Fraulein Schneider!
Kara Young has more talent in her little finger than any of the Sallies who have been in this production so far (NY & London).

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Not a bad pick there."
Danke!

Does she sing? She could be amazing if she does, but it does seem to be intentional for the Emcee and Sally to be white and Cliff to be Black.

Well considering that when I was at the show the first week of previews and i was talking with one of the producers and asked about casting. With such a short contract with Eddie and she said that they already have the next casting signed they are waiting though because this cast is just settling in. But she also told me that with the new casting there will be a new fall schedule of only on 5 days (7) shows a week starting in September. She was quite excited about the new casting and saying how “big” this would be. (So my question doesn’t stem from ridiculousness)
with the transition to 7 a week I do believe that it would be a bit “bigger” of a name.
I would also love to see brendon urie as the emcee.

Yes, a producer just spilled her guts to you because she was so excited.

Never spilled her guts. Clearly. Had she “spilled “ her guts she would have flat out told me. But I will say that the conversation had was quite candid. But I was also there three times in the first week of previews and the way the pre show elements are set up it does open one up to having conversations.
We had started talking about the renovations which originally were talked to be 21 then 26 million. She said it’s actually looking to be closer to 29 million once it’s actually opened. And then we got to talking about the longer term plan of the show. And casting and that kind of stuff. As well as the climate for putting shows up.
But alas, thank you to all those who have taken the time to respond with snark.

Did she mention at all when they would start? I trust you- just want to know when a good date would be for the new cast.

If we're going BIG Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway could reunite. Neal Patrick Harris? Anna Kendrick? I'd love to see Rachel Bloom play Sally.

It's not stunt casting, but depending on how long the show runs, I would like Carolee Carmello and/or Victoria Clark to get a chance at Fraulein Schneider.
Also, random thought: I have no idea if he'd want to do it, but Kieran Culkin has the right kind of energy for the Emcee.

No, she didn’t mention specifically when, but I’m assuming based on the end of Eddie’s contract being August 31. I’m assuming the new cast would be in for September.

There's a few others on that poster's list whose ages would raise a few eyebrows (Celia Keenan-Bolger, for instance is closer to 50 now than she is to 40). Just shows how much of an art casting really is, and how terrible many on here would be at it.

Thanks for sharing that. That definitely clears up some uncertainty
I haven’t seen this Cabaret so I’m not sure how she’d fit into this specific production’s vision, but I think Lindsay Lohan would truly be perfect casting for Sally.
Woody Allen as Herr Schultz and Mia Farrow as Fraulein Schneider would be considered “stunt" casting, I think.
In another world, I think that would be a great choice.

Woody Allen should be locked up, not stunt cast in a Broadway show
I always wanted to see what Bo Burnham would do as the Emcee, but I’m not sure this is the production for that… nor do I think he’d be comfortable doing live theatre.
Soem Sallys that I think would be great in this production: Margaret Qualley, Keke Palmer, Greta Lee, Mia Goth, Carey Mulligan, Meghann Fahey, Vanessa Hudgens, Trace Lysette.
LOVE the suggestion of Rachel Brosnahan!
