Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Posted: 11/30/12 at 10:46amGotta agree here. Underwood is a phenomenal performer, but this just isn't right. There are PLENTY of vehicles they could try with Underwood (South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, hell maybe even Wicked) but Sound of Music? Sorry, gotta say PASS!

Odd that two of the shows you listed (South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun) were both originally cast with Mary Martin, the original Maria Von Trapp on Broadway.

I doubt any of you have gone to one of Carries concerts but its an incredible show. She puts alot of energy to making it perfect and I think she'll do the same with that. Even thought she can clearly sing I am sure she'll work with coaches to make it perfect.
