I saw Robyn in Chicago Sunday and she is EXCELLENT. She's an amazing dancer, and her "Mona" is HYSTERICAL - the audience ate her bit up.
She's also stunning onstage.

Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

Glad to hear that! I'll probably go see Chicago again over my vacation.

Robyn or no, I still have no desire to see Chicago, lol.

Ooh, how come?
I saw it like a month ago and LOVED it.

What I have seen of it just seems so boring to me. I saw the movie, though.

The show isn't very good. The movie was significantly better. They succeeded in writing a concrete story, something the show never had.

Then I probably wouldn't like the stage show at all. Not to mention I throughly enjoyed the... flashy aspect of the film. I'm sorry, I like shiny things.
I'm one of those people that sometimes needs more than just a story to keep my interested.

I think I picked a good time to see it, because of the cast. Of course, most of that cast is gone now, so it should be interesting.

Not to mention I only saw Robyn in TWS twice, and it was closing weekend. So while I enjoyed her in the show, I wouldn't necessarily call myself a "fan"... so I don't feel like I need to go see Chicago to support her. Maybe if she were playing Roxie, but eh..

She's understudying Roxie, I think.

woop. I was lucky to see Nicolettes first show back in. It was my second time seeing RENT and it had been almost a year. I only have one Maureen to compare her to and the movie as well. But I thought she was amazing. such an amazing voice and soooo much energy on that stage.

Nicolette is a trip to Rent waiting to happen for me. I'm a fan of the show as it is, so when I heard Nicolette was going in as Maureen for a little while, I freaked out a tiny bit. Haha.

Lynchmob, you have some great pictures on your website! Just kinda hard to navigate to see them all as large images at once instead of having to click a new link to a new page every time.
And what kind of camera do you use? It's great!

Great photos!! I wish my camera worked as well as yours- in general. I didn't even try to take pics at the last show.

Thanks everyone
Liotte, the site layout is going to be changed so that the photos are easier to view but I just thought i'd get them up before too much time has gone by.
The camera I used for that show (and the borgata lynch shows) is just a little point and shoot. A Sanyo 5 MP because my professional camera is being fixed.
