Thank you for the heads-up! I've been wanting to go back and have been waiting in case she got to go on. Just raced to Telecharge and bought second row for tonight! Can't wait!

Could you pretty please do me a CRAZY favor and snap a pic of the signed poster being offered for BCEFA? I’d love to SEE how it looks before I commit to heading down to buy one. If you can’t, no worries. Thank you and enjoy tonight!

I'm sure Nikki will be amazing and I'm very excited for her and to hear reviews!
Though after seeing it 4 times I really, really can't imagine anyone other than Katrina in the role. I'm sure Nikki will make it her own.

Katrina posted on Instagram that she has tested positive and is "waiting on further test results." She could be out for 10 days.
Yep, I think Nikki will be absolutely wonderful, but I’m not sure anyone can match what Lenk does in “Being Alive” in this production. Similar to how Raul’s “Being Alive” is in a league of his own for male versions.

I'm baffled that such a major revival looks as if it won't get a cast recording.

I think the hesitation is that they did a recording for the London cast, which has Patti and is very similar (similar in that it's the same production). I am still MAJORLY holding out hope as I need this cast on a recording, but I would guess that is why they haven't done it yet.
Paige Faure also covers Bobby, so if Katrina is out all week, I wonder if they'll have Paige do a few performances?
I guessing Brittany Coleman is on as Jenny?

Heath Saunders also just posted that they’re on as PJ this afternoon.
I’d imagine they’re going to use Nikki for the duration of Katrina’s absence, like they did with Simard for Patti.

She is on as Jenny according to her instagram. Britney also covers Bobbie so this could get interesting if Katrina really is out with Covid all week.

Let’s not forget that we’re getting a documentary that will include footage from this production. It’s very possible they could include a recording of Katrina’a Being Alive - or better yet, release the entire number via social media, as they did with Patti’s Ladies Who Lunch performance. Hell, Katrina could perform it on the Tony Awards even.

Company managed to avoid any major Covid issues and cancellations in December while everyone else was dealing with it, but looks like they may be dealing with it now. There are 8 understudies on today according to Britney Coleman's instagram.

My tickets are for next Tuesday, is anyone else from the cast out? Will Katrina comes back for next Tuesday if its COVID?

Not until next Thursday or Friday probably. If you really want to see her (which I think you should), you may want to exchange them.
I have tickets to see this for a third time Friday- I've been lucky enough to see the entire original revival cast, Jennifer when she was on for Patti and now whatever iteration I get on Friday night. The bench is deep with talent at Company- very excited for Nikki today, she's a star in her own right- I remember her Nabalungi a few years ago when Gavin Creel was in Mormon.

You're right. Thanks for mentioning it.

I'm sure this is the case. I'm still bugged, both because a new lead strikes me as warranting a new recording, plus it's the last production/revival Sondheim himself got to observe. History. Plus, you know. I want it. lol

I hope this doesn't mean a major Covid outbreak is hitting the show.
If this is the same cast that's on tonight, I'll be a little disappointed not to see Fitzgerald again, because I'm always happy to see him. But glad to see Daniels + LuPone + Simard + Elder, and I'm sure the understudies are up to the task.
Has Jeff Kready gone on before? Either way, that's fun for them.
I’m sad I’m not there. If this is all due to a covid outbreak, I believe the cast has enough coverage to get through the 10 days. I definitely plan on going this weekend.
Kready is only on as a New Yorker, so nothing thrilling. Let's see what happens for the rest of the week.
If anyone goes today or in the coming days and buys a signed poster, please snap a pic and send it to meee.
sorry to be a pain in the ass.
