I see this "possiblity" in two ways: one. While Darren Criss is exceptionally talented, I don't think the role of Billy Flynn suits him. He doesn't have the voice for it. Also, to be quite honest, I don't think he has the proper stature (i.e. height). Many of the Ladies of Chicago are tall, so it wouldn't look all that great to have a fairly short Billy Flynn. Two: If the Weisslers can convince Criss to take on the role of Billy Flynn, it would be great for them and for the show as well. Darren Criss is a musical theatre "rainmaker" (he'll bring in the crowds). I would be intrigued if this particular rumor turns out to be true. We shall see. RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
