Everyone there is too busy kissing the "stars" asses to say anything.
Yeah, I'm not joining the group. I might go on my other facebook account (my old one), change the name, and leave it. I don't want him to know it's me because he knows who I am... he recognizes me when I stage door now. Here I go!
..
I commented to his post and said whilst i apreciate he said hes not against Hollywood performing on Broadway etc i said i did not agree AT all about his silly thing about Hollywood presenting.
All awards shows do it, pop stars at film awards, Movie stars at TV awards, Hollywood stars at music awards and so on and so on
Yes, its absolutely true, I agree with you, songanddanceman2.
The one thing I thought that sucked was Green Day in the BEGINNING of the awards. They could have had an audience from a completely different setting for a while. I know people would still have watched to see Idiot but still I thought maybe they'd have a BIGGER audience waiting for Green Day to appear?
I thought Greenday were awesome
It was nice to see a bit of life in the awards show, and if got a few extra people watching the telecast then even better
Oh I thought they were awesome as well.
I just thought the timing was bad. They were pretty much the first to perform. I thought it would have made more sense to maybe put them in the middle of the show, I don't know.
but they didn't get people to tune it, ratings were down.
I figured that. Sean Hayes had a lot to fill because wasn't NPH the best ratings the Tony's had in years?

I tell u, this "presenter" thing reeks of red carpet envy. Somebody post or PM me those hunter's fb posts about CZJ, and I will bitchslap him with it on fb.
"Did he change the info for the group? I didn't read it fully but it didn't seem as angry as I thought it would be, and he didn't really say anything about Hollywood actors winning. I could have missed it though."
It wasn't just that post in the group. He and Jen have long since deleted their other posts so that's why you don't see them anymore. But initially they said some not very nice things about CZJ's win.
"but they didn't get people to tune it, ratings were down."
Yes but that does not mean they did not get more people to tune in, for all we know without Greenday they could have been less audience.
"Yes but that does not mean they did not get more people to tune in, for all we know without Greenday they could have been less audience."
That's true.
@Stagemanager2: Yeah, I saw a link that Hunter posted and he said something to the tune of "I'm not attacking CZJ or Scarlett" and then someone commented, putting what he titled the link with, and I guess one of his earlier statements about Scarlett Johanson, and wrote "I love hypocrisy in the morning."
Why do I always like the people that start problems?! lolol!

Yes, that comment was pretty delicious on that facebook groups's page. I love that the comment that Hunter made was "It was actually worse in the theatre." And the little suck up fans don't believe, and have asked Hunter to reply. He hasn' t yet. I really think some of these Broadway people just don't understand that their 5000 friends on fb are mostly just suck ups. And so they just lose touch with reality (I.e., Jen Cody thinking she is actually a star worthy of walking the red carpet - "but everyone calls me a star on my facebook page!" Or Hunter thinking that he is actually some benevolent revolutionary "of course I didn't say anything negative about CZJ! This movement is pure! None of my 'friends' will believe I said that!) It's like they are delusional.
The ratings were down because this was one of the worst musical seasons in recent memory. There was no big breakout hit that everyone was flocking to see. Who knows how many people would've tuned in if Green Day hadn't been playing, or all those stars were nominated?
I thought the Green Day performance livened up what was otherwise a dull telecast. I know I'm preaching to the choir over here but I don't see them performing as any different than Elton John singing "Electricity" during last year's telecast...they have a show on Broadway which they were fairly heavily involved with the creation of and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be allowed to perform with their cast backing them.
Some of the things people are saying on that group are absolutely vitriolic and mean. And I agree that ratings were down because of this horrible season...nobody watched because nobody cared about most of the shows that were nominated.
Wow, the amount of hate and rancor from the members of this group towards Catherine Zeta-Jones is absurd. She hasn't done anything to deserve such vicious hate.

I'm not naming names, but I've heard rumors about a certain gal being a (rhymes with stitch) and that her reputation precedes her and I've always thought that it's thanks to that reputation, Charlotte d"Amboise's Cassie was foisted upon the world.
Bio: I don't wear socks. I care too much. I cherish my friends. I am a joyful, optimistic spirit who is capable of feeling great and deep despair. I want/try to foster courage in myself and others. I am, unfortunately, a bad judge of character. Kindness, forbearance, courage and faith in the face of all adversity is paramount. I continue to be newly and deeply grateful for my mind-blowingly gorgeous and genius gift of Andrew...how we are deepening everyday, and what being with him teaches me about love and life. And myself. I want to thrive and continue to grow in my life and in my work. I still want to "make it"; whatever that means. I would be nothing without my friends...and my brilliant mom and her brave and wise heart. And Andrew has, thankfully, changed my life forever.

Why is it the ones who seem to be so full of "LOVE" and
"ENLIGHTENMENT" are really the most vicious? Kind of like the Christian Radical Right!

Of course Hunter's not going to respond to anyone on this board. He can't even defend his hypocrisy and lies on his own facebook posts, but is leaving his "suck ups" to do so.

Just as I expected, she deleted her post...
I guess she realized she did have the courage to change this. And she was seeing rightly through her heart. Now if she would only have the courage to see that an apology would be "rightly"...but since that seems to be invisible to my eye it must be essential.
