Very interested to hear the backstage stories on this considering how opposite their reputations are.
Okay, so I just misread the article headline on this site as "Denzel Washington & Jake Gyllenhaal to Star in OH, HELLO on Broadway" *facepalm* Carry on...

Molly Osborne has been cast to play Desdemona opposite Denzel Washington.
..
Molly Osborne will make her Broadway debut in this production as Desdemona.
That’s all well and good but I need the show to give me DATES, so I can plan my life around it.

Ditto.
Presumably, this will be a limited 12-16 week run? Would love to know the dates.

She was tremendous in the Benjamin Button musical when I saw it at the Southwark Playhouse in London. I'm guessing she isn't making the West End transfer. Does she have a profile outside of Button? As great as she is, it's kind of a surprise, out-of-the-box casting...
They clearly already have names in the cast. It’s nice that they’re giving someone new a big opportunity.

Now I'm looking up this Benjamin Button musical... I had no clue...

I knew they wouldn't need a"name" with Denzel and Jake so it doesn't surprise me. The producer said he was looking at West End understudies and stand-bys when casting Desdemona, and her name kept coming up.

Any rumblings on run dates and/or when tickets will go on sale for this yet?
No, and it's starting to piss me off a bit, waiting for literally any new info about this.

Par for the course for a Brian Moreland show

I agree with essence here….but it feels more like this producer doesn’t know where they are going just yet…
I mean the same is true for Good Night and Good Luck and Waiting for Godot and Smash so many… Broadway feels very full at the moment.

Othello, Good Night and Smash all must have/are looking at theatres with shows that are conceivably “open ended’ right now. Or have a short run tenant before them.
So a mix of -

Winter Garden
Imperial

Othello will probably go into the Lyceum, James Earl Jones or Longacre Theatre

Please, let it be NOT Longacre. I hate that theater, but more so, I would love Swept Away to succeed and not shut down by spring.

I don't see a world where Oh, Mary doesn't continue to extend.

The show’s web site says it’s a 15 week engagement- and while they may have a short extension built into the stars’ contracts, I doubt it’s very much (4 weeks)? I suspect they know that they only have Denzel and Jake for a finite period, so I’m guessing they know the dates, even if they have to stage the thing in an empty lot.

Reddit Broadway sub has a rumor this will only have 5 shows a week. I assume no theater is none offically announced still.

Another ridiculous reddit rumor. Sounds like something the Stinky B*llsack would come up with.
Makes sense for massive stars. Five shows a week means you can make your ticket prices incredibly high knowing people will pay them. Like Springsteen did.

How does it make sense? Everyone working on the show still gets paid for 8 shows. The theatre doesn’t reduce the rent.
Nice, thanks Troy, you always have the info!
