Some people on this board are still stuck in the past... Who cares if she is not like Loudon, Its a new production of Annie and a new take on a role. It would be boring to see performers interpreting the role as the original performers that did it when the show originally opened on Broadway
It was just such a singular, unique performance. A terrible injustice was done when Carol Burnett played it in the movie. She should have stuck to Mama's Family.
The Yankees won the war, women have the right to vote, the Beatles broke up, Mama Cass is dead, and Broadway shows will never cost $6.60 and $8.80 again.
Can we just move on, please?

So are you saying that NO ONE should ever play the role ever again- if that were the case, Nobody except those who were actually old enough to have seen Louden would really even know what the show was or what it was about. Let it go....
Uh...the topic please? I believe the OP asked (more or less) if anyone had managed to see Faith Prince as "Miss Hannigan".
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Don't they have a Friday Matinee during the summer at Annie instead of a Wed night? Did she go on already?
I was not a fan of Carol Burnett in the role - and I usually love her. But I was not a fan of the movie as a whole so maybe I didn't give her a fair shake.
I definitely will go back to see Faith in the role.
