A few scenes in Rent but the one shot that was amazing was when the camera followed dawsons arm in to the air and went over her to roger who was on the balcony in Another Day(great camera work and lifted the moment so high)
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
In the movie Cairo, Robert Young asks Jeanette MacDonald if she's ever been to San Francisco- "Yes! Once, with Gable and Tracy, and the joint fell apart!" I laugh every time. Pretty corny joke, but it never fails to make me laugh. Also, though it could be argued that it's the worst big budget musical ever made, Jeanette's vamp scene in I Married An Angel is definitely worth the price I paid for it.
It's like writing "Norma Shearer for the win!" in a Joan Crawford biography.
I love the moment in Chicago when Velma snaps her head in time to All the Jazz to get her sister's spotlight too. CZJ was by far my favorite in that movie. I also love Razzle Dazzle. If we're including disney movies, Be Our Guest is grand
For me it has to be Somewhere over the Rainbow. One of the most beloved anthems ever written for the screen. The scene is so simple yet with Judy's fantastic voice and full realization of a lonely character wanting more, it becomes an extravegent piece of cinematic art. I get chills everytime I see it. Also the impact that the song has had over the years is mind-blowing. To think the song was almost cut from the final film.
"Love Is Good For Anything That Ails You"--PENNIES FROM HEAVEN, Bernadette conducting an orchestra of kids. "My Baby Said Yes"--Steve Martin can dance!
"Thanks Alot But No Thanks"--IT'S ALWAYS FAIR WEATHER, Dolores Gray in all her glory.
"Easy To Be Hard"--HAIR
"I Found A Million Dollar Baby In a Five and Dime"--FUNNY LADY
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
well it's disney and a cartoon, but in the lion king when simba goes up the rock in the rain after scar is killed, big chills for me! They both reached for the gun in chicago (frickin' awesome! Not the biggest fan of the movie, but i'll cover you (both times) the first is so cute and the second makes me so emotional..jesse l martin is amazing. I really liked wishing you were somehow here again in phantom, and somewhere over the rainbow is a classic. Another disney, but "Belle" and the transformation=amazing! i just wish she sang home reprise there ah well.

"I slept through the nominations, as I always do. Anything I need to know, I'll find out when I get up at a reasonable hour!"
-Michael Cerveris

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."-- Ferris Bueller's Day Off
