Did he get up and take acting, dancing and singing classes for years?
Did he go to Broadway auditions every morning for years?
Did he work his way up from Dinner Theatre to Summer Stock to National tours?
Did he work in any Broadway chorus singing 8 shows a week for Broadway minimum?

Taylor Hicks has never done anything except win a contest none of you have the talent to enter, let alone face Simon. If Simon says you got no talent, MAYBE we'll take it as serious critism, but for you guys to go after someone BEFORE he debuts, it's Dear SH*T time. Ok, he won AI last year and he decides to take a role in this piece of **** production? Could he really find nothing better to do? Like maybe tour, or maybe start working on another album, or take a break for a few months? How this career move made sense to anyone is beyond me.
And by the way I have nothing against Taylor, this just confuses the hell out of me.
