Great Comet Rush — Page 7

He got a standing ovation in his entrance and at the end of dust and ashes. During his part in the abduction, people started to clap and then he started laughing and then started the next part after the clapping stopped. The speech was done by Lucas. Idk if they'll be videos of it thoufh the ushers were very strict, they did not allow people to film at all. If they saw someone they would immediately run and I mean run to the person to turn off their phone. The ushers in the orchestra even told ushers in the mezzanine who they could see filming in the mezz from the orchestra. I hope someone was able to get a video of it though it was very sweet!

Hi all, I know there's already a video of this but since I recorded it I just thought I would upload it; here's the whole Josh Groban's final curtain call from today with Lucas Steele's speech. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JLKdXanbZk I am in very rear mezzanine and I am quite short, so there were plenty of heads in front of me and in the shot... Sorry for that

What time did you and your friend end up arriving and how far back in the line are you?

We overslept and arrived at 5:30am. We were about 22 in line. By 7:30am the line was down past the fence cover and to the stores. We purchased tickets for the matinee- orchestra E17-19. The view was obstructed by the staircase in front of us. A lot of acton takes place stage right so I wouldn't recommend those seats. We also purchased 2 tickets in row H obstructed view for the matinee. We were offered a choice between matinee and evening performances.

How early should I line up if I wanted to rush next Wednesday, July 12th? I would do either matinee or evening, no preference. Also, what are the rush seats like?
Thanks!

Hi guys! Was thinking of rushing the show tomorrow to see Dave and Ingrid. Does anyone know how long it's been since Groban's exit/Michaelson's start?

If by "post-Groban" you mean Oak-lines then they don't start until this coming Tuesday.

I don't necessarily mean Oak, I mean currently know how long people are waiting for rush tickets. To get tickets for the show how long should I plan on sitting in line?""
I believe what chuckydisc meant was that currently Pierre is being played by Dave Malloy. When you go in August, the role will be played by Oak (who is starting on Tuesday). We don't know what the rush lines are going to look like once Oak assumes the role, so it's best to just wait until Tuesday and see what the reports are then.

I'm rushing today. I got here at about 5:30 and I'm 2nd in line. It's 7:30 now and there's 10 people total (myself included).
Update: It's 8:19 now and I'm counting about 21-22 individuals. Don't know how many tickets each person is getting though.

Hey all! I know this is a long shot as it is still a few months away, but if I'm going to rush this show mid-November (most likely the weekend before Black Friday). What time would I want to arrive at the theatre to ensure rush tickets?

Until we know cast replacements, impossible to tell.

Has anyone rushed in the past week or two during this whole fiasco? Any reports? Thinking of trying for tomorrow.

Decided to go for it and I'm sixth in line right now. If anyone is interested in my second ticket and is willing to pay for mine as well, PM me! :)

To be first simply arrive before anyone else. To be second, arrive before a 2nd person does.
OR
Sorry, you can't be first or second in line because my friend and I have already started the Friday line ... but you are more than welcome to be 3rd.
