Believe it or not...I can't think of any...

What do you think?

And btw, im talking about Broadway casts.

A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

I wanna say Whistle Down the Wind. I have the CD and the cast has great singing voices but most of them when they start "acting"...oy.

I think RENT can be a great show with the right cast, but I haven't seen an incredible cast in it in awhile.

The "Revival" of Funny Girl with Deborah Gibson(I love her to death), but she was sooooo not right for the part, she doesn't have the range that is needed for Fanny. Or how about the 1995 revival of Company, yikes! The only great song on that cast recording was LaChanze's "Another Hundred People"

(I don't mean everyone. Just a select few.)

I saw a production of Funny Girl back in the late 80's with Pia Zadora, worst ever. So bad it was hilarious. I would also say the cast of Sweet Charity recently, wasn't the best it could've been.

I am going to have to agree with Rent. When I was back home in Chicago a couple of years ago it was on tour and the cast was just plain awful.

Jack: For your information, most people who meet me do not know that I am gay. Will: Jack, blind and deaf people know you're gay. Dead people know you're gay. Jack: Grace, when you first met me, did you know I was gay? Grace: My dog knew.

Another from the late 80's Donna Pescow, Belinda Carlisle and Adrian Zmed in Grease and Sam Harris as Jesus in JCS...Yikes! Gayest Jesus I have ever seen, and I've seen a few.

I might have to agree with SWEET CHARITY. I loved Applegate, but other than her, not so much.

My choice would have to be, more or less, A CHORUS LINE.

Munk, I don't think the whole cast of A Chorus Line is bad. Just a few of them (granted the two biggest roles). I would say Inherit the Wind with the exception of Plummer.

Eh. The majority of the cast of A CHORUS LINE can't act their way out of a bag.

I disagree about ACL...saw it for the second time last night and thought the show itself and all of the actors were incredible.

I do agree regarding the LES MIZ revival though...

I thought Applegate really acted the part well, and she danced very well for a non-dancer. The problem was she lacked that spark of stage presence, which was very apparent when Dennis O'Hare came on.

Trace, ditto on that. I thoroughly enjoyed the cast. I think it's just popular to hate on them.

Isn't that the lady from Even Stevens who plays Louis's mother? I didnt know she did musical theater.

Born to Reign, what on EARTH are you talking about? It's popular to "hate on them?" Are you crazy?

I saw the show in early, early previews when I literally hadn't read anything about the cast at all. I thought the cast was lacking then, and I think they're still lacking. So, you see, I know you're incredibly wise, but the truth of the matter is - I thought they were lacking back before you think it became a "trend."

Probably a Chorus Line and Rent. And at times Wicked.

I think your right going with the Les Mis revival. I loved Norm Lewis, and Lea Salonga; but Ali Ewoldt just didn't do it for me.
