Now, if Mr Pudgy wanted to take that shirt off for me, I would have no objections. I guess he wouldn't want to do it listening to the Chicago soundtrack, though
I have to admit that this whole campaign is pissing me off and I just couldn't sit by silently.
Hunter's "intentions" as posted by best12bars earlier are NULL and VOID and reek of trying to justify what the purpose of this unnecessary and petty facebook page is about.
He actually slammed another theater performer publicly and that is a no-no.
Now some have even begun attacking the British performers.
It doesn't even seem like any of them have a suggestion as to how to actually go about changing the awards ceremony...excuse me, besides "creating a separate category for 'Hollywood star in a role for a limited run.'"
The Tonys would be 5 hours long before the people that complain about it would be happy; and even then, I'm sure they'd find something else to complain about. Ten bucks says the producers don't even look at the "petition" that they're going to be sent.
I noticed that too Marquise but that immediately entered my mind when the re-run was on last night. Now I wished the Tonys really did give a nod to Law & Order.
1) Jen, where did you get this list of Tony rules? Other than in your own head, I mean. They do not exist elsewhere. Perhaps you haven't seen the Tonys. Remember when Juliet Prowse was one of the hosts back in the 80s? She must have gotten that job from her one-month stint in Eddie Fisher at the Winter Garden in 1962. She was FAMOUS for that!
2) Chris, perhaps security is tighter in NYC because it is NYC. The most popular terrorist target in both reality and in fiction in the US. I travel internationally several times a year and have never been searched or harassed by American customs agents at O'Hare in Chicago. And if you feel welcomed in every other country, I can assume you have never flown into London, Copenhagen, Paris, Madrid or Warsaw. Or have any sense on the Western European view of Americans in general, which can get pretty nasty. Of course, it could be that the Europeans look at your passport and are instantly relieved that you are only in their country temporarily while Americans are annoyed that they have to deal with you on a more permanent basis. It could be totally personal.

Even Alice isn't part of it. I think these people need to step back from their screens and assess what they're writing. Hunter performed on the TONYS. Why? He didn't have too.
