Goodness me, there are people out there that still want to see this show upon reopening? I thought I wouldn't live to see the day after all that has happened.
The majority of ticket buyers couldn't care less about backstage drama. Hotels recommend tickets, or people just wanting a good deal to see any Broadway show, etc. We care on here but we are not the majority.

Perhaps I should take back what I had said before about not creating a reopening night thread forJagged Little Pill. Even if only for the sake of Blickenstaff..."
Please create one. It has been nice seeing them again. (Also, I sent you a PM but messaging is acting up and just sent the subject)
"
You can say whatever you sent me here. I understand."
I did! It was what I posted above about creating a thread.
It's so sad that people are calling for the death of this show. No consideration for these actors, musicians and crew that have been out of work for 18 months.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Exactly. No one who wanted to see the Alanis Morrissette musical (and hasnt yet already) is now going to read some holier-than-thou posts on Twitter and lose interest. This show's success will have NOTHING to do with the Twitter nonsense- and its just appalling that the producers dont have the confidence to recognize that and ignore this childishness until it goes away on its own.
JLP reopens a week from tonight and there still hasn't been a replacement announced for Antonio Cipriano. Have they bumped John Cardoza up to the role full-time?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

was surprised to see this on TDF and keep hearing how slow sales are. i think this is the kinda thing that really needs a tourist (read, not just NY suburbs) trade.

I seem to recall Jagged was on TDF a lot before the shutdown as well.

could be- i dont remember. but i was expecting a few sold out months for it, given the Tony noms and the excitement on this board. I detested the show but would go back to see Heidi, so good news for me, not complaining.
I hope JLP stays open because I love it! And someone told me last night that they have tons of money from the government, so it won't close before I'm back in NYC in February. Is this true?

The website now says Adi Roy will be playing Phoenix

Bumping this because I totally forgot I manifested this casting.

Maybe she agreed to return after her pregnancy and now has taken it back. Doesn't seem like she feels safe returning and would rather remain home with her baby."
I think she cleaned out her dressing room mainly because she won't be needing it for however long her maternity leave will last. Janine DiVita has confirmed on Instagram that she is filling in for Laurel in her ensemble track until then. https://www.instagram.com/p/CUS6bLHPzRy/
