In todays Red Eye (a free Chicago newspaper that includes articles from different publications) there was an article on Jake Gyllenhaal from The Washington Post. In the article the following quote emerged,
"We just did 'Into the Woods' at the family reunion. Peter played the wolf, and I played Little Red Riding Hood. It's always really intense but really moving...we all cry at the end. When we sang the song 'No One Is Alone' it really got to me. 'Cause Peter has a beautiful voice - I don't know if you know that about him."
Ummm.....could he be more of a gay?
a gay? is that what we are now?
Oh please.
Are they gonna do DREAMGIRLS next year?
Which should play Effie and which should play Deena?
Clay Aiken can be Lorrell!
I don't think Jake is gay (I think he's even married... for a long time).
You know what, though? I think BROKEBACK made him "think-back". As that movie does for so MANY people (his age, my age, their age)...
Makes being cautious (or even CURIOUS) about gay people a little bit lame.
I think Gyllenhaal learned something from BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN (as MILLIONS of people did), and now he's a brand new person. He's straight... BUT he undertands something NOW that he never did before. Since seeing that movie 3 times, me too.

I won't go into what I learned from Brokeback b/c I can't say it in a clean manner.
I don't really think this makes him uber-gay, make me raise an eyebrow, but I do know one straight guy who really does want to play Little Red because he likes the song "I Know Things Now" a whole lot.

Jake is not married and as far as I could fine, never been married.
Jake already played "Effie" from Dreamgirls on SNL. He was fantastic, in a hideous sort of way.
Or was it hideous in a sort of fantastic way?
Either way.

Haha! I could see the two of them doing "I Will Never Leave You" from Side Show.
"Oh please."
Could anyone who uses that phrase be more of a gay?
He may not be gay, but what he and his family did was totally gay.
"He's straight... BUT he undertands something NOW that he never did before"
So Chason, would you say he "Knows Things Now"?.......forgive me for that
You got that right JustAGuy!

If he is gay, who cares?
If he is gay, who cares?
Funny how you never see comments like "If he is straight, who cares?" about threads which mention male-female couples.
I like this video better...

LizzieCurry: What I meant is who cares what sexual preference a person has. It makes no difference to me as far as their performance is concerned and their personal life is theirs.
You started this thread to call him "a gay"?!
Get over it.
I just thought it was funny that he played Little Red. Lots of gay men are on this board. Lots of gay men love Jake.
I am a funny, sarcastic man. Sorry it didn't come through - I just thought I would post that funny story for everyone to get a laugh.
Lighten the **** up everyone! :)
Kyle - they don't lighten up.. they get meaner. I should know. You have every right to post what you want - you're fine.
