I agree about the "big girls" as Mermaids, I thought it was awesome! Now they need a fatty boy in that show and I'll be pleased as punch!
I should have take a snapshot pics of you Zepka...and everyone here will probably say how good looking you are (who is the cute blonde guy in a black coat?) instead of the merchandise boy (he's cute ..but I was taking the merchandise photo not him..I got him by accident..LOL! )
So I guess there was 4 posters from BWW that Saturday Night.... me, Zepka, Jordangirl, WithoutATrace on The Little Mermaid.... (My) Chris post once in a blue-moon....

Awesome review! I loved the pictures as well, especially the first one :)
Jaystarr,
I don't know if I've said this before, but I always enjoy reading your reviews and love the fact that you include so many pix to document your experience.
seanmartin - no picking on twinks!!! I happen to be one.
Thanks for the great review & great pictures!
Thanks so much for a very detailed review and for the great photos Jay. I always look forward to your reviews and it is so nice of you to share your experience with all of us. You are a true asset to this message board.

thanks for all the pictures! Everyone has made this show out to be so bad, but I saw Under the Sea on ABC News, and I thought it looked great! I liked that they brought out those ferris wheel things because they added to the larger-than-lifeness of the number. In the movie scene, you get the impression that there is too much going on to even take it all in, and so I guess I like that it seemed 'busy.' On top of that, I've really loved all the pictures I've seen and music clips I've heard....maybe it's just me.

oh god.. people arguing over an AMDA twink
they also cast mermaids that were not really skinny. I love how they cast the sister mermaids into different sizes too..- that was good!
I want a picture of those mersisters already! C'mon Disney...:)

jay, how were the seats at 90 dollars?
Jay, I always enjoy reading your 10/10 reports and in particular seeing the Playbill inside pages! Did Jonathan Freeman and Derrick Baskin come out that night? And did some of the actors not sign for you? It looks like you only have 6 signatures but photos of 8 people. (By the way, the other 5 people need to take legibility lessons from Eddie Korbich!)
Fantastic review as always, Jay! Your multimedia review threads are unlike any other, and it's always such a joy to get to see photos of what you're reviewing along with your words.
I'm glad you enjoyed the show.
That merchandise guy is mine! What a total cutie.
Wow. I'm shocked that Sherie came out.
Great review, Jay.
Thanks for sharing your review Jay. I appreciate how thorough and fair you were with the review. love all the pics too. This is my favorite Disney story, but all the other reviews I've read kind of scared me away from seeing this show. Yours changed my mind. You had fun and for the most part could look past the flaws in the show and still have a nice enjoyable evening at the theatre- that is the important thing to me!
You all can have that merch guy, I want the Ursula shirt! Hopefully it will be available online soon.
Thanks for the review!!! The pictures are great! I went out on an impulse and bought tickets for Wednesday night...I'll definately be sure to post a review when I get back. Now it's time to think of a good enough reason to call in sick Wednesday so I can make it to the show....
BroadwayBound86, "upset stomach" has worked for me on numerous occasions
Elijah Wood is working at a merch booth now? :)
Are the programs available online? They didn't have them in Denver and I must own one.
