The only roles in the show suitable for Feldstein are so small and thankless that I cannot imagine she would do them, nor would the producers pay the premium for her to do them.

Someone in Beanie’s life should tell her to never return to musical theater. I like her as an actress but the girl cannot sing.

I will always find the previews thread with people attempting to say anything nice about her voice because they needed to justify paying $250 to hear a non-singer sing absolutely hilarious.

OMG Funny Girl has already lived and died it’s unspectacular second life. How many years must we wait for the the Beanie hard-on to end on this board? She didn’t kill anyone, she just sucked. Get over it.

I actually don’t blame Beanie for Funny Girl. She was excellent every time I saw her in Hello, Dolly! and I think she is very well cast in the Merrily film. I don’t understand why the Powers That Be built Funny Girl around her and cast her as Monica Lewinsky. Some of the most epic miscasting I’ve ever seen. She must have an amazing agent or really worked her family contacts. She had no business starring in either project.

Whoa, that's a shocker.

Wonder if this production even happens at all now - its innovative, Tony-winning director is still attached and the lead producer had a hit on both sides of the pond with PRIMA FACIE.
