The Brothers just released a new album in August (which is honestly pretty good IMO) and finished a North American tour leg last week."
Just not a fan of theirs. Most of their concerts, they appear to use autotune and/or lip-sync.

My hope is that it will be someone we haven’t thought of but will result in a “why didn’t I think of him?” moment for everyone on this thread. I like surprises.
I don’t know if this show has any West End future, but it seems that the current generation of West End stars offers a few interesting possibilities for Bobby.

I think Groff’s Spring Awakening co-star, Skylar Astin, would make a great Darin.

Sweaty Oracle says Joe Jonas is going into Gatsby.

Didn't he literally say like 3 days ago it was going to be Reeve + an Eva Return?

He says Jonas will go in after Reeve/Eva.

I don't think Joe has the vocals for Gatsby?

This one is definitely more in his wheelhouse. Good luck to him.

Ooh, Gatsby is also an intriguing fit for Jonas - and the Broadway is where he made his Main Stem debut as a child actor in Luhrmann's LA BOHÈME.
Meanwhile, apparently Morrison attended JUST IN TIME this evening.

Darren Criss would have been an excellent choice IMO but he is in another show right now that is pretty good - lmao.

Like Hugh Jackman, Morrison is just inherently cheesy when he sings and dances.
After Grof, I just can’t see Just in Time settling for him as a take over. He won’t shift any tickets.

How about Corey Cott?
He's quite a singer and charming!

Corey is on Law & Order now. Not sure what their shooting schedule is but could make it impossible for him

Here is another idea:
Jesse Lo Protto was amazing in Gotta Dance.
He can carry it and do Darrin great Justice

Members, think of people who will sell tickets come on

So, the ten people who know who that is will just keep buying out the theater nightly?
And Corey Cott wouldn't sell tickets, he has a job, and he lives in the South.

Lo Protto still looks like he's 21, and he wouldn't sell tickets. amazingly talented, but no.

Kad said: "He’d be fine but I question whether he’ll be a draw these days. Whoever steps in will have big shoes to fill and it’ll be a test of whether people are excited for the show or just Groff."
I would bet people are excited about Groff and not the show. This show will be lucky to make it through the summer IMO.

Right now, it's only on sale through Groff's last day - March 29. I feel like there's a good chance they just decide to close.

that's what I'm leaning towards now. ticket sales for the week Groff is out isn't good. whoever they might have lined up might have fallen through, too.

Sweaty Oracle on Instagram saying he will announce the next two replacements for Groff tomorrow.
